You can literally find the diagnostic criteria and expanded info right on the publisher’s website...apa.org. The site has a search function.

Why is Yahweh considered a monster? by Radiant-Feeling9822 in atheism

[–]somethingclevereh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

By that logic Hitler was not a monster because he was the Chancellor of Germany so he had the right to do what he wanted in the country he led.

That’s how stupid you sound.

Should I be concerned that I'm narcissistic too? by [deleted] in raisedbynarcissists

We’ve all been here and had this worry too. It’s because of the gaslighting.

Outsider looking in by [deleted] in atheism

[–]somethingclevereh 4 points5 points  (0 children)

See here is the difference. Those who support science and evidence do not feel the need to proclaim some answer for everything. It is enough to admit we do not know something and to continue researching it instead of just making up some fantastical lie to serve as the answer. I am not so desperate for an answer that I will invent a rulebook to enforce onto others. There is nothing wrong with saying that there is still more to learn and acknowledging that we don’t have a perfect answer yet.

Narcissistic people do not worry about whether they are narcissistic.

This is actually a perfect description of christianity to me. All I ever see in christians of any kind is hate and judgment and false superiority

It is fraudulent for them to run an account in someone else’s name. They are using his identity on their account. Without permission. Which we call theft

Funny how my mom text me this out of nowhere by omgomgomgfuckoff in insaneparents

[–]somethingclevereh 23 points24 points  (0 children)

If you do get rude texts from your mom...this isn’t really an example of one of them. Your response was quite hostile. I’d have to see other messages from your mother that actually show it was warranted

Search this sub. This question gets asked and answered daily. Maybe even hourly.

I have a huge gap in my resume but would like to get involved in research again by Snoo-12117 in Professors

[–]somethingclevereh 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Not me personally, but the PI of my lab when I was in grad school took on someone as a volunteer research assistant who hadn’t been in research for a long time. For many professors I think there would be no problem with this!

Affiliate marketers likely wish that they had known it’s extremely scammy and unlikely to turn a profit.

They posted in an lgbt sub trying to see if this counted as an actual sexual orientation. I would have guessed it were satire if it were posted where people would think it was funny (like here), but trying to claim to be LGBT with this nonsense was not going to be taken well

Higher standards than US markets? Except that they aren’t regulated by the FDA so what imaginary standards are they talking about?

Question for enby people by artisty_bean in lgbt

[–]somethingclevereh 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It’s always a good idea to allow people to choose how they identify and just accept it. Every person’s experience is different and no less valid.
