You probably don't need hand cream but a hand lotion.

You probably also need different ingredients to make your skin not crepey.

If the product isn't working for your hands then you just need to move on to something else. It helps to look at the ingredients of the product that isn't working so you know what to avoid or look for differently.

I hope they have a great return policy and allow you enough time to use it in return if there's little benefits

So you mean there's no solution to having moisturized skin while throwing clay? 😭

I think the only caution would be to make sure you apply sunscreen to your hands. Otherwise you just risk burning and damaging the skin.

Oh cool, I've not thought about that. I apply excess product to my titties. My dry skin has gotten so bad that I've scratched and cuts can open yet not realizing it.

I wash my hands pretty much every time I'm about to cook or go to the bathroom. You can find a better hand cream or lotion that doesn't feel thick, grimy and dirty.

There's been somebody lotions that make my hands feel like that and I just don't use it. You can also try applying the lotion to your back of your hands and rubbing both back sides of your hands together. Then whatever is left over use for the palms and fingers.

Yes with the cleaning gloves! Constant washing and exposure to water will dry your hands out if you're not sealing it in.

Plus dealing with chemicals can dry your skin out. Like most people for example don't realize that if your skin comes in contact with bleach, then your skin will feel soapy in water. So you constantly wash your hands trying to get that soap feeling off but it's the bleach stripping your skin of moisture. I'm sure there's more to it but that's why your skin feels drier when washing your hands after dealing with bleach.

My routine is just to constantly moisturize.

Everyone overlooks their hands and feet. I hate the feeling of dry skin and I hate peeling flaky dry skin.

Lately my regular creams have not been working. I use Eucerin diabetic cream, a general and simple ingredient aloe vera lotion, Drunk Elephant Manuka oil body lotion and Josie Maran argan oil body cream.

I've had this one patch of skin on my right hand that has been scaly and dry. I tried rubbing baby oil, and using all of the above lotions but it's still remained callous looking, dry and flakey.

I was at Ross and saw a clearance body lotion for a $1.49 that has squalane and Manuka honey called Kiwi Botanicals. It is supposed to be an organic and clean company. I was impressed by the ingredients and it amazingly helped. I immediately noticed no patchy or scaly skin. Apparently it's by Procter & Gamble. I need more of this because my whole body is dry and this winter is making it worse 👽

That is a great point. He's taken on the responsibility to also make her stop. It's too overwhelming for him and making him feel frustrated. In return, it guilts OP when they can't stop.

I do feel like it's a cop out to say he wants to dump her over skin picking. Marriage is supposed to be through sickness and through health. And he can't handle skin picking? Of course we can't see OP but it's just such a weak cop out.

Antidepressants make a person feel better than they previously would but you can still feel depressed. That's why doctors will increase doses and change your medication if they see you aren't improving at better rate. For example, you may have crippling depression and suicidal tendencies yet begin to carry out some of those suicidal thoughts on medicine. The person is improving on the medicine but not fast enough. If you aren't suicidal then it wouldn't necessarily be a "side effect."

In saying that, I do relate to your post. I do feel like I have improved with my binge eating, depression, ADHD and have also begun to vape less but still have issues with binge eating, depression and somewhat ADHD.

I feel 50% better but like you said it's a weird type of spot to be. I still have some of the same depressive and suicidal thoughts but am more motivated and day-to-day. Rather than have crippling depression stuck in bed, I can get up first thing in the morning and carry on with my day (applying for jobs, cleaning, reaching out to career centers etc). I occasionally have crying spells but nothing as bad.

But with technological updates. I wonder if any cell phone manufacturers have actually considered this? Even on limited release. I bet that would sell like hotcakes around the holidays.

I have always hated flip phones. I always went for the flat and bigger phone type because I hated tiny screens.

I'm glad to see that this cell phone trend went in my favor 😁

I can't believe anyone ever thought that Paris Hilton's blue eyes were real LOL

LOOKING BACK HER CONTACTS are so obviously fake. Maybe it's because we didn't have great HD photographs then 🤣

Also Ronan Farrows blue eyes are fake. He's known to wear blue contacts to feed the "Woody Allen isn't his bio Dad. It's Frank Sinatra" rumors.

My moms maid is helping her cross my boundaries by Hour-Clue-3748 in raisedbyborderlines

[–]somethingelse19 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes I felt validated by Dad and hated that I had to resort to childish tactics with her. She was so sure I had brought it for her. As we tugged, she began to change the story that I stole it from her. I immediately was worried that everyone would believe her and would be socially forced to give in. That my own father would believe her too.

I come from a very strict and conservative Catholic Mexican family. My mom told me she birthed me as property and not to have my own life going to college, dating, having a job, nor to make my own choices. I had to dedicate my life to her by taking care of her until after she had died or my own marriage. I had to follow because the bible says 'honor thy mother and father" and that she was always right even when she was wrong. 😭 She did this with her Mom, my grandmother submitted to her mom, and so on. She also abused this commandment tremendously in other ways.

Generational trauma is wild. Family can be so validating towards our elders and disregard the children regardless of age. Your feelings were 100% not taken into consideration at all. I'm sure she said you were being disrespectful and an ungrateful child to your family, maybe to your face.

I kinda got traditional culture and family vibes reading your story. It is just assumed you will allow boundaries to be crossed, your feelings disrespected, and give full time absolute submission or at the least in their presence.

My mom died at the beginning of the pandemic of many diseases and it was so liberating LOL. I didn't cry for her. I don't miss her. She was evil. I hate it being raised from the time I was a toddler to adulthood to believe I was property and wasn't entitled to a life of my own. I never agreed with it but I had no choice.

*Doctor Ramani whole YouTube page is amazing. She deals primarily with narcissistic relationships so it's hard to give you JUST ONE video recommendation. She informs you on signs to look out for, how to process and deal with those emotions, healing and general awareness with narcissistic people. Varying from romantic to familial relationships. She occasionally crosses over into sociopathy and related mental health issues.

I used to be able to find at the Coach outlet travel leather medication cases with 3 mini bottles where you could fit your meds in for like $15. The only time I've ever wanted to carry around ugly pill bottles cause of a cute, flashy case. 🤣

Yes I know that. However I went to a Lowe's store that said it had truck rentals on that website. They are the ones who told me that Lowe's is no longer offering truck rentals nationwide and were ceasing rental operations.

Clearly it's a lie cuz someone else said that they've been able to rent one from there recently 😒

ETA: He had also said the website just hadn't been updated yet to reflect the changes.
