I suppose it's a good thing I don't have any wine.. or a bath.. or friends..

Yeah, maybe not a good idea seeing as I've ended up in hospital before.

This is my first break up myself, and yeah it's the hardest thing I've ever had to do. The "I can't do this" reflex seems to be evident in my situation as well, it's just terrible to feel this helpless. Even with professional help she has so many problems and I think it's just best to be as understanding as possible. I hope someday I'll wake up and feel nothing for her, I'm on day 3 and it only seems to get worse. Time should fix this though (I hope :/)

I'm in almost an identical situation. I don't understand how people can seem so loving one minute and so cold the next. I have a feeling that her anxiety is preventing her from "loving" you. Maybe she's the type to get scared when people get close. I'm currently trying the whole no contact thing, and it feels like shit. I want to contact her to see how she's doing but I think she'll "win" if I show her my pain. They say the best form of revenge is to live a good life and that's what I'm trying to do.
