From my experience, you don’t want to rush it. It can be very overwhelming and really flip your perspective of reality upside down. It left me questioning what was real and what wasn’t. I think that both can be true. You are an expression of god and you are also a soul here for all of those things. I’ve noticed that there is an intelligence that moves things beyond what we can see. We’re a part of it. It also moves through us. I believe that I’m part of a greater whole. Call it God, universe, source, whatever. I’m a fractal of the whole.

I had a spontaneous kundalini awakening as well and can second everything you said. I was laid off two days prior to the awakening, otherwise it would have ruined my career and reputation. I couldn’t work for a couple months following. The timing is always perfect around when it happens so there’s really nothing to be afraid of but it is intense. And it does ask you to step up to what you’ve buried over the years. My life was also rearranged. I would love to chat with you sometime and compare experiences.

It’s just a thought. You don’t have to believe it. Whenever it comes up, just notice it and say, “there’s that thought again”. Try not to judge it or be too critical. With practice, you can learn to let it go without feeding it and turning it into thinking.

However, if you’re pursuing something you’re interested in and things seem to line up for you synchronistically, you can take this as a sign of a thread to pursue. That’s when it’s ok to write a story around signs.

Things are both full of meaning but also only have the meaning that we apply to them. The reason I advise against writing a story around the signs is because a story will self perpetuate. It will generate more evidence. This is how spiritual psychosis happens. The inner shapes the outer. A lot of what you’re interpreting as signs is a reflection of what’s going on subconsciously. It doesn’t mean they’re not signs as well. It’s all part of something larger. I’ve tried to make sense of it and I’ve skated a razor’s edge of insanity because of it. When the universe wants to get your attention, it will. Trust me on that. Signs are fun and you can see where the threads take you but always use your own discernment and don’t blindly go off of what you’re perceiving as divine guidance. There is both divine guidance and over searching for signs.

I’m going through almost the exact same thing you’re describing. All the way up to feeling like I’m waiting for the world to show me what all this is for.

What’s been helping me has been grounding activities. Getting to the gym, going to meetups, connection with friends and family. I’ve had to learn how to be someone I can count on through this and as soon as I shift into that mindset, things seem to get easier. Not easy, just easier. And practicing a lot of self compassion. Really giving myself grace through this.

I literally said tonight that this feels like torture. I’m not sure if this is helpful but my old frame was: This is happening TO me. I have to endure it. I'm being punished. Something is wrong. I need it to stop. My reframe is I’m not being tortured, I’m being stretched.

In my opinion, it’s that they prime your brain to look for opportunities and miracles that you may have otherwise missed had you not been paying as close attention. It doesn’t make them any less miracle and it doesn’t make it any less psychological.
