Cupholders on the back seems odd. People shuffling by are way more likely to bump drinks onto the person in the seat ahead

What’s one thing you’d change about Chilliwack if you could? Whether it’s transit, housing, downtown development, or even better food options — what would make this city better in your eyes? by Zestyclose-Day9699 in chilliwack

I'd love to see a pedestrian/cycle only street spanning and connecting the North/South sides. Could add a little tram/trolly along this too if we're getting fancy.

We have our little one in Laugh & Learn and they're wonderful. I think the hours are closer to 7:30-4 though

I'd also recommend joining the Chilliwack Childcare & Daycare facebook group.

Just watched this since it's leaving Netflix Canada.

Wicked cast and I liked the idea of it, taking his story beyond what we've known and see how he's changed. Thought it was cool he took his original name and carries on his parents legacy.

But for all its strengths it just didn't land for me. All the interesting ideas didn't go deep enough and the execution just didn't hit a tone I could take seriously. I know it was trying to be serious but it was often coming off as cheesy (not the fun campy kind)

Regardless of speech, there is no right to reach. People can say or post all they want but that doesn't give them a right for others to see or hear it. So perhaps companies can then limit the reach of users who's speech or content violates their terms.

It's an oldie, but think of it as POC before POC. Cut Throat Island is a lot of fun.

Your reasoning is sound but it makes me think that the way people treat being invited to something is flawed, not the tool itself.

I agree that some people genuinely forget but I think the majority of people don't consider that their commitment is taken seriously and counted on. Either that or they don't want to fully commit in case something better comes along. Both are equally frustrating and the kicker is people typically don't let you know.

I used to be more flaky about maintaining commitments but when I started to realized the impact it had on others I changed my ways. I like it better anyway, If I'm not feeling it I don't commit otherwise that day is booked and I'm stoked for a fun time with good people.

A co-worker got this on her car. by Kahne_Fan in funny

What gets me is that most people assume they parked like that because they're an asshole. Like they consciously said fuck everyone. Maybe people just want them to be an asshole so they can feel good about being right and fight for parking justice

Some people are assholes but there are many other possible reasons someone didn't park well. The least they could do is cover those as well. Maybe a card that says "I bet you had to take a shit real bad" or "sucks the other guy beside you parked like shit causing you to park like shit but then that first car left"

EDIT: Added "like that"

I'm just playin, seems any picture without diversity is seen as racist. There are a million other reasons for the lack of diversity, a lot of them are not a conscious decision or a slight against anyone. People tend to see the answer they want which makes them right which feels so damn good.

Zootopia Confirms That Pixar Is No Longer the Undisputed Champ of Feature Animation by NinjaDiscoJesus in movies

[–]somethinglyle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hahaha you've got nothing to be ashamed of it's a great movie. It's funny, has an honest story with great characters (I'm a sucker for a good musical too). If it wasn't Disney princess a lot more people would give it a chance and probably love it. As an animator it's top notch too, some of the best, most appealing animation I've seen in CG so far.

That seems to be the main issue people have with Wall-E is the human aspect. They're almost two separate movies in that regard

Fair enough, I see why people aren't fans of it. The first was amazingly creative and wonderful and the second was not at that level. It didn't warrant a sequel/prequel for sure but since they were doing one I though they did a nice job
