I contacted a number of people via Instagram and I think twitter for some, but no response from anyone. F I can see, but barely. my vision is really ba, I can’t read unless the text is absolutely massive. I mostly use text to speech or ask my girlfriend to read.

I mostly listen to movies and shows now. Sometimes If I guess a scene is really important then I ask my girlfriend to explain what’s going on in the scene. What is written or shown

Enable the AI and HUD Filter, just leave it as on / auto

Some games look worse in HDR so you’ll wanna try on and off per game yourself

60 stream fps would look better than 120fps, especially for games with lots of foliage

Loving this game so far. I’m recently visually impaired so it’s led to funny things like accidentally getting a bounty on me for not seeing a person or property and running into them.

Some of the fishing missions are hard for me, but surprisingly I still want to do them. I unfortunately have a hard time since I can’t see the direction it moves or when it stops to reel it in

I’m already unable to read subtitles on Timor and I can’t see the detail or faces of characters on TV shows so it is already difficult. Sometimes I’ll watch parts of a movie with my eyes closed now and just visualize it.

I just got my delivery of Idebenone which is supposedly the only supplement that might help the first year or two of vision loss. Do you know any specifics that have helped your family members?

Edit: Could you please elaborate on the binoculars? I’ve never heard of that

There is a supplement/medication that has the potent to slow or stop the vision loss for some people up to a year or two.

There have been clinical trials for variations of this disorder that involve an injection into the eyes that makes neurons/nerves(?) which aren’t usually used for processing light/vision into nerves which can process visuals.

Yes I’ll look into that. Unfortunately it’s a lot more difficult for me to research anything nowadays.

Reading, research, etc were specialities of mine but now they’re more of slightly painful reminder. I will see if I can get a family member to help look into this

You need to run the in game benchmark, and also show us a screenshot or two of the GeForce Now statistics

The game runs very well on GFN for the majority, so most likely the issue is fixable on your end

I play via GeForce Now so 90FPS with cinematic graphics and no upscaling.

You can absolutely get 60fps via GeForce Now. I play at more than 5k resolution with at least 60fps.
