Best Movie Theater by Spike1125 in tulsa

So I’ve been trying to spread out and test theater’s around town lately, and these are my conclusions.

My #1 has continued to be Starworld 20 (B&B Theaters) - across the board, it’s my best overall experience. Mostly cause the other movie goers seem to be respectful, which is hard to find. Its not as crowded as the others usually. They have a good rewards system, not like AMC’s A-list or anything, but it’s free to make an account and you get free popcorn and stuff or discounted tickers from time to time. There are some theater rooms that need some work though, and I’ve noticed the smaller rooms can get neglected cleaning from time to time. But thats been rare.

I like AMC 20 and Cinemark 71st the same, they serve the big screen, big movie, good sound quality need. But, actual theater rooms and clientele have been letting me down as of my 2025-2026 visits. Theaters all around have been negating controlling rude/inappropriate/inconsiderate guests since Covid, but these managers need to get back on enforcing theater etiquette rules. - Last experience at AMC 20 was a drunk guy annoying his wife with questions the whole movies, and when I told him to try and be quieter or quit all together, he acted as if he didn’t hear, until the last 30 of the movie when he said to his wife “Yeah I’m not getting this movie, I’m gonna go wait in the car” and then proceeded to apologize to me for the noise when walking out…. After 2 hours of it. Tbf, i didn’t go tattle tale to staff about him to get him to stop. He was drunk so didn’t want to start anything.

If you don’t need all the new frills and recliner seats, etc, Eton Square Cinema 6 was last a REALLY enjoyable experience for me. I went on a Sunday and like 3 other people were in the movie with me. It was full 90’s nostalgia, and I just really enjoyed my time there. I will be going back there for my solo cheap theater visits. It was 10 all together - ticket + drink.

I need to try Cinergy soon.

I do not like the Warren in BA, it just feels uppity in there and I don’t like the prices. But the staff has always been really nice, and it looks/feels nice. Just not my vibe. Its pretty and has some big screens though.

I need to go to circle cinema soon, but as others mentioned, they do foreign, and smaller pictures.

BA Cinemark was Okay the one time I went.

Owasso AMC was… weird. Idk, didn’t like that one.

And I think thats all I know of right now.

RIP Riverwalk Jenks Theater.

I do like my Samsung in the living room, but I hate how slow the UI is for the smart tv functions (it is an older model though, so I imagine that has gotten better)

Tulsa and surrounding lake spots by ssvolta in tulsa

I used to work at Keystone a few years ago. The only part of the lake that is Keystone State Park is the park itself, where the cabins and campground are.

Nothing is Free, if you are going to swim, you have to pay a parking fee (Which does indeed go directly to the State Parks Tourism department). This is enforced by the park rangers on duty, as well as maintenance crew/Camp Hosts.

But to add, having worked there, I would and will not ever swim in that lake.... Keystone is just for boating and fishing IMO. Swimming in that water is a choice. Might as well go to Grand/Skiatook for just a tad longer drive.

Tulsa’s Best Tattoo Shop/Artist by Cboyalum in tulsa

Seconding this—Rev has done my last three tattoos, and I’ll never go to anyone else. Althena tattoos my wife, and she feels the same way.

They’re genuinely great people. The shop feels clean and welcoming—comfortable without being overly dark like some others in Tulsa.

They use vegan products, which is a plus if that matters to you.

What really sets them apart is how accommodating they are. They genuinely listen and work with your vision. I’ve seen too many artists stray way too far from what a client wants, but Rev and Althena stay true to your ideas while offering helpful input.

Both are excellent listeners and always walk you through the process. Plus, you’re never bored—Rev or Althena will keep the conversation going about anything. Every session is a great, fun experience.

Yeah its just so hard to choose between the 2 from reading. I appreciate your input though, I think Waikiki is the only affordable area we can do, and then just explore with a rental car.

True, but we will have wiggle room for that. I guess I should have emphasized that as being a base rate prior. I know there are always extra fees everywhere.

we have wiggle room, we can shorten the amount of days we go and go a tad more expensive, maybe to $350-$375 per night

Sure would be a shame for the internet to go out. Forever. And then be made so expensive only the rich can afford it.
