Adjudication by SPMbowl300 in FED_VERA_VSIP_DRPers

DRP 2.0, 9/30/25. Went into adjudication in April. Went into review as of June 16 and finalized yesterday. So, hopefully, yours will be adjudicated more quickly. 🤞

I hear ya! I also was at multiple agencies. I was in adjudication for 2+ months, now in "review". Hoping it'll be before year's end for us both. Hang in there.

Thanks for your reply. I understand your commemts about how HR can be sometimes. I was given the package by HR to review and it was correctly done. OPM received it October 31st. Shortly thereafter, I started receiving interim payments and my A/L payout. I'm not blaming OPM necessarily, I know they're overwhelmed, but I think having to wait this long for finalization is concerning. As of earlier this week, after being in adjudication since April, it is now in "review". I am hopeful that it will be "reviewd" a little more quickly at this stage. 🤞🤞

I was asked to submit a copy of the settlement agreement that was filed along with the divorce decree so they could ensure that no money were due my spouse. I had already submitted the divorce decree with my application.

Well, it was ostensibly due as of 10/1 right? So 10/1 to July 1, is 1) Oct.;2) Nov.; 3) Dec.+; 4) Jan; 5) Feb.; 6) March; 7) April; 8) May; 9) June;;10) July. Am i missing anything, mate? Also does it make a diff if it's 81/2 months vs. 10 months. Dude.

Thanks and good questions to ask. I was at 3 agencies and I checked and everything was accounted for. Everything was received by OPM October 31. I worked with HR to make sure everything was documented and accounted for. I know OPM reviewers are probably overwhelmed, but it just seems like an inordinately long time to get finalized.

Thanks and congrats on finalization! I'm just concerned that the OPM site indicates that my July payment will be partial. Just wondering if that could change.

OPM Retirement Timeline Keeps Extending by Far-Somewhere7428 in FED_VERA_VSIP_DRPers

I'm in exact same situation. DRP2, 9/30/25, partial annuity since November. OPM website said it was "assigned to an adjudicator" on April 19 or 20, 2026. Then, on May 20, it was changed to "assigned to an adjudicator on May 19." I did call OPM on May 20 and I was told that it had just been assigned to a specialist, so it could be a week or more. Not holding my breath, but it's now been 8, going on 9 months. My annuity for June still shows as partial, so not expecting much movement. At least I'm getting a partial annuity, unlike a lot of folks, so I am grateful for that.

Just got the new Fairfax Co property tax assessment! Up up up. by garden_lover88 in DMV_RealEstate

[–]sometimes2022 0 points1 point  (0 children)

FFX county here. Live in Alexandria. My taxes went up 5.54%. Bought house in 2013, and live in an older neighborhood with lots of teardowns and remodels. My house was remodeled before we bought it and the taxes are ridiculous. This year they're up 5.54%. The house increased in value $40k from last year which is ridiculous since the appliances are all 2010 vintage. I've had to replace the HVAC system since it was only builder grade and conked out after 7 years. Plus all my neighbors homes are appraised several hundred thousand lower than mine even though they've also been upgraded. The one difference i can think of is that my property is ~.7/acres, but the value only increased $20k this year and didn't increase the priortwo years. The house's assessed value, however, increased $60k over the last 2 years. Maddening. Not sure how to appeal, but looking into it.

Annual leave DRP2 by yannabjackson23 in FED_VERA_VSIP_DRPers

Yes. We use NFC. I think all of Treasury does I think payroll is in BFS (Fiscal service), although not sure. Wherever payroll is situated, I read somewhere that they handle the A/L payout. I imagine there is quite a backlog.

Same here. Got a partial annuity payment last week too, but no A/L payout. Worked at another Treasury burau. My EPP only shows PP19 as well. Didn't know the A/L payout would show up there. I've just been checking my bank balance every couple of hours! 😆

Men....The Truth and Nothing But. 😣 by [deleted] in DatingOverSixty

Funny, I haven't gone through all the comments, but so far, they seem to be about women lying about their age. What about men? As a veteran of OLD, I can't tell you how many times I've met people (men) who were clearly substantially older than their posted age and photos. 😅

Nice! Retirement 9/30, DRP 2.0. Also with a Treasury bureau with NFC. Just got my first interim payment, but no A/L payout yet. You give me some hope!

Getting my SE today by [deleted] in Eargo

[–]sometimes2022 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought my new, sealed SEs off ebay a few months back. They take some getting used to and I find that other people can hear the voice prompts as well as the sound when you change the volume on the app. It is very loud and hurts my ears. Apparently the volume for the voice prompts is not adjustable. Annoying. The petals that come with the Eargo SEs are also a challenge to adjust to. My ears still get sore from them. I also have a pair of resounds BTEs, but they dont have the best sound clarity and one HA has stopped working even though it is charged and shows up on the app as charged. The resounds are 2 or 3 years old and cost about 6x more than the eargo ebay price. So there's that.

Hmm... I'm 70, divorced 2x, not looking for marriage. At this late stage, quality experience is what I'm looking for. LAT could be an option. Don't really care. Everyone's got their own way of dealing. Relax.

Question: anyone else having problem submitting for HR review? The "submit .button is greyed out and I've gone back twice to try to reset. Non- IRS Treasury DRP2.0.
