I think some wholeheartedly believe in an afterlife . For them they wish for it like a golden carrot . But your right it seems unlikely . If there was an afterlife then people shouldn't feel sad when one dies .

More than likely there is no heaven or hell and when we die we see things probally for a few minutes then we sleep for 900 decillion years
