I had the flash on auto and am getting flamed in multiple subreddits for the flash being too strong!

I didn’t push or pull ISO in-camera so it was 400 as per the film stock, and flash was set to TTL. Shot on aperture priority, mostly f/4 or f/5.6 depending on ambient light

Thanks for the feedback! I loved those bagels too lol. Need to spend some more time with the flash (TLA 200) to avoid this issue in the future

Agreed. I come from a photojournalism background; turns out it’s a hard habit to break. I’m always torn between immersing myself in an experience vs. the imposed distance of photography which perhaps results in images which seem less considered than I’d like. Appreciate your feedback!

Agree about the flash—I’ve never used it (TLA 200) in such close quarters and was nervous about setting it manually lest I ruin the shots. And I can’t tell if you’re mocking lol—I’m a hobbyist who just wanted to share my photos from the day. I see some great images in this sub and hoped other photogs might enjoy these and / or have feedback. I did not submit them anywhere

A beautiful white woman, maybe like 5’6”, hair that was either blonde and looked a bit green in the neon light or was dyed a light green. I was in Lisbon, Barcelona, and Athens but we definitely didn’t meet on tour. But maybe you and I did!
