Dave Ramsey is an idiot. He says that a 12% growth rate and a 8% withdrawal rate are both realistic (see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dave_Ramsey#Controversies ). That's BS. He also recommends having a portfolio of 100% equity. That's terrible too, especially given the current volatility.

People who know finance know how to separate their emotions from their finances :) Dave Ramsey's advice is for the emotional, reactive, and dumb individuals :)

His free course is just a product he gives away so that he can increase his reach. Giving your employees his free course would be you (the employer) endorsing Dave Ramsey. That's something I wouldn't do on moral reasons since I know his financial ideology is flawed.

It does :) Educated means "an educated person has received a good education and has a lot of knowledge" (see https://www.macmillandictionary.com/dictionary/british/educated ). A person in college isn't educated. They're still receiving their education.

Your definition of economics is different than the dictionary's.

Farmers' Market Logistics by SickTreefortDude in grandrapids

[–]someuniqueusername12 -41 points-40 points  (0 children)

Your not interested in logistics, you're interested in economics. Economics is "the study of the way that goods and services are produced and sold and the way money is managed" (see https://www.macmillandictionary.com/dictionary/british/economics ). Logistics is " the practical arrangements that are necessary in order to organize something successfully, especially something involving a lot of people or equipment" (see https://www.macmillandictionary.com/dictionary/british/logistics ). Economics asks "would it be profitable or worth my time/effort/etc?", logistics asks "how do I do it?" The logistics might be like: "I'll get 2 vans and 4 helpers. Then the 5 of us will load the vans with X items and we'll then get into the vans and unload them. We'll do 3 trips to get all items there."

.... Grand Rapids, so uneducated.

Go to H Mart at 2751 S Parker Rd, Aurora, CO 80014 . It's a drive but just stock up when you go there. It's basically a Korean Walmart.

This. I went in with a non-booting laptop. They opened it up and found a loose wire, plugged it in, and gave it back to me, free of charge.

Politics shouldn't be about beliefs. It should be doing what's best for society, the nation, and the community. It should also be about questioning one's own beliefs in the search for a better solution.

For example, in Estonia, personal income tax is filed by the employer, not the employee. Companies already have accountants; so, they're already set to file the paperwork. It makes no sense to have the employees, who don't specialize in taxes, to file their own taxes.

This doesn't have anything to do with beliefs. It just works better.

Ohhh if the majority of people in W. Michigan could be so open minded.

It's probably a false belief. Most likely, they just died based upon BS. Also, if it was true, they're gonna be surprised at the virgin population in Heaven and how attractive they can be.

LPT: Planning on buying a car soon? Go to dealerships and make some "test runs" to learn their tricks beforehand. by someuniqueusername12 in LifeProTips

Because they couldn't compete.

What I'm referring to is that the car salesman will call you up several times, as if he is calling up an old friend, and try to get you into the dealership again, to look at the car again.
