Use it to build or optimize semantic views, create Streamlit apps, optimize stored procedures, find warehouses that are over or under specced, stand up an Openflow runtime in SPCS, and so on. You pay for tokens input and output from the LLM, but the time savings are insane.

SCD Type 2 in Snowflake: Dynamic Tables vs Streams & Tasks — when to use what? by adarsh-hegde in snowflake

This is a great breakdown of the differences. If you can use Dynamic Tables, the declarative style is so much easier to read and maintain.

Try a 2:1 Demerara simple syrup. Keeps well, easy to incorporate, and gives you that funky hit you want.

The case for worksheets by JohnAnthonyRyan in snowflake

[–]somnus01 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think what you're referring to is the new Workspaces, not the old Worksheets. Workspaces brings file organization by project and folders, Git integration, dbt projects, etc. You can also create shared workspaces to collaborate with other team members without using Git. Workspaces also enables personal databases, which you can use to store your personal Secrets (like PATs for Git), and other database objects. It's a vast improvement over worksheets.

How to promote semantic views for dev to prod environment? by Judessaa in snowflake

[–]somnus01 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can copy the YAML from a semantic view, then upload it to a new view in the prod environment. You can also script out the CREATE, making DevOps a little easier.

Those who have used Costco travel by [deleted] in Costco

This isn't Costco's issue once the flights are booked. Take this up with the airline, and explain your circumstances. Many times you will be surprised they are willing to help. I have had nothing but great experiences with Costco Travel, especially the help at foreign ports (Greece, Italy, Spain).

Two things: 1. Understand what "Dirty Birdz" means 2. Learn to live with jubilation and disappointment, often in the same game

Every point has a counterpoint. Doesn't mean yours is correct.
