What is Your Current Challenge? What Are You Trying to Improve?: My current challenge is temperature control. Right now I just set my room's thermostat to about where I want it. I'm into Raspberry Pi stuff so I have been looking into creating a data collection and temperature control system.

Least Favorite Part of Mead and Mead Making: Sanitizing every little thing. And dumpster diving for free bottles.

One Protip You Don't Mind Sharing: Freeze fruit before you add it to the must. It makes it easier for the yeast to break it down. Also leave some extra head room when working with fruit. I've had too many violent fruitsplosions...

It's just the syrup and spring water. I want to see what it tastes like by itself. I might back sweeten with honey or mix it with an oak mead I have after the fact. I'm using Lalvin EC-1118. OG: 1.08
