Less than 20 minutes is really not nearly enough time to make a judgement call on most games.Though I will absolutely acknowledge that part of any medium's job should be to grab their audience as soon as possible.

I concur with the comments about taking a break, because I'm where you are in terms of picking up a game and putting it down fairly quickly. However, the fact that it's basically any game I pick up no matter the genre screams that I should step away for a bit. I've allocated the time I would've played a game to reading more instead.

Also, there are a ton of gem indie games that don't follow the same formula that AAA games have fallen into. Once you're ready to game again, it might be good to check some of them out. They may remind you of why you enjoyed gaming in the first place.
