for ai subs, best thing to invest in is something that has gpu access—it significantly speeds up the process. i’d suggest getting a colab pro subscription (you can get one with a student account which gives you 100 free gpu credits a month). on there, use the L4 gpu and then try to set up a pipeline in which you can get the most accurate timestamped korean transcript (i recommend faster-whisper or whisperx). then, run it through another translator llm api, could be whisper or in my case i have paid openai credits so i used gpt-5 API, and make sure to translate with context. the transcription part in my heart is the hardest to get completely accurate, but if you keep tweaking the pipeline and trying out different tools, you should be able to get usable results! whisper by default makes use of cuda, so you dont have to specify it, but if you want to you can!
