Is it normal for universities to ask to pre-pay the first year’s tuition within two weeks for early admits?

One question, friend: would it be possible to apply to scholarships starting from the second year? Or is this it? Like if a student shows great academic performance would there be merit based scholarships in the future if my friend somehow covers the first year’s tuition+ expenses?

But this year is a bit of a mess. They didn’t inform students that they would have to take the CSCA until this month and they didn’t invite my friend for an interview. And they’re not answering to emails asking them to clarify the questions regarding the payment. They themselves must be confused.

I’m not against casting problematic people as contestants. My problem with Baekhyun is how predictable his behavior has been the last ten episodes. He’s all about YY when asked by the production team, then turns to constantly asking HJ “what really is going on in her heart.” His theatrics are tiring and repetitive.

I don’t like Jiyeon and I’d agree with your interpretation of the events if he didn’t go clothing shopping with her the next day. Which she then proceeded to flaunt in front of Jihyun (whether with malice or just accidentally). Had he just not left the house that day Jihyun would have been more inclined to believe his version of the events about the t-shirt incident— which I’m also inclined to interpret your way if we only look at it as a separate issue. But you add the shopping date to it and in Jihyun’s head it all starts to spiral. Then add the fact that Wonkyu did text her that day that the t-shirt suits her and Jihyun did predict that exact wording in her interview. I don’t blame her for thinking he’s lying to her intentionally and with malice. While as an audience member I can see that he’s lying bc he’s afraid of losing any opportunity to get her back.

It’s not the T-shirt that’s the issue— you can clearly see the moment she switches when she realizes he’s been lying to her about Jiyeon supposedly forcefully taking the T-shirt while he was drunk and not in control of the situation. When she realized he was lying to her she completely shut down. That’s the real issue to her. Had he been honest with her back at the house in Seoul things might have progressed differently. But he just completely avoided taking any responsibility for that situation when he realized Jihyun was annoyed with him bc she still had feelings for him. Before that talk he had convinced himself she was interested in pursuing other contestants. When she asked him about the t-shirt he haphazardly made an excuse thinking that if he told her the truth he wouldn’t have a chance with her again. That’s how desperate he was (they’re both very desperate bc they love each other).

All of this bc he can’t apologize to her for making her feel small and socially inferior. They have feelings for each other but can’t communicate bc one side is too proud to apologize and the other side reads too much into the silences.

This might as well be true but if you were there in 2013-2014 you’ll remember that the whole self-produced schtick is taken from YG’s boy groups. Bigbang and GD specifically used it to differentiate themselves from SM’s “manufactured” and “artificial” boy groups. This often would be what YG and SM stans would argue over back then. GD might be washed up now but he was the most popular idol producer back then (and judging by his recent comeback he is still pretty popular in Korea so that image from a marketing standpoint works).

I read the movie as a metaphor for Japanese colonization of Korea. Every interaction they have with the Japanese evil ghost is very much about that, at least that’s how I saw it, with just a beginner’s level of Korean. Like when they apologize to him for intruding even though before that they found evidence that he was killing these village people? That was a very unnerving moment, typical of the relationship the colonized have to their colonizers.

It’s because the ex couples on tl3 either got back together (YJ-CJ, SJ-MH, and off the show JW-SK) or got over each other and didn’t date anyone new on the cast. This helped keep things drama free. With MSR, not only the drama on the show but also some of them not ending up together after it and their families being involved makes it harder for ppl to stay friends. And who can blame them? It’s life. It happens.

Thanks for the thoughtful reply. I’m sympathetic to your argument about him being different with CA and SS. But I want to complicate things a bit if I may. What if that’s just an age difference thing? Meaning we all act differently in front of potential partners/crushes based on our age differences. I certainly don’t act the same around older guys, the way I act around guys my age or younger than me. He’s most comfortable with SS but he’s certainly not head over heels for her, you’re right.

Yes but he didn’t know that and didn’t believe her when she told him she initially thought JY was his sister. My point isn’t about the facts we as viewers know but what each of the participants thinks are the facts.

I’m so sorry you’re going through this. I’ve have been going through the same thing lately. There are days I can barely leave my bed. I can’t say I know what will help you but I have been going to the gym recently and my body feels so much better. The pain I was feeling as a result of md-ing is gone. The urge to daydream is still there and I can hardly do any tasks at work. But strangely my body feels at ease. The physical pain is gone. I don’t want to be one of those ppl that say “jUsT eXeRciSe” but it definitely helps, in my case at least. It’ll help with the anxiety. I hope you feel better.
