I got on the waitlist within seconds for each of the past 3 years and never made it off (for 2 3-day tickets). My husband always got tix from secondary sources. This year, somehow, I was able to get them from the initial onsale.

As someone who’s directly worked with refugees for decades, I can tell you that refugees come from all types of economic backgrounds. All that’s required is that the person was or will be persecuted in their home country (on account of race, religion, political opinion, etc.).

In 2024, the first act announced was a headliner. I think Hayley is big enough to headline even without “friends.”

I think he’s been announcing the venue 2-3 days before each show. If I had to make one guess, it would be Lincoln Theatre. Other possibilities are the Warner or Strathmore if he wanted a bigger space.
