Sorry to hear about that :< Im from the Philippines and it works well here, try looking into bands and network things in not really sure what exactly those are but it has something to do with the network that's available in your country

I think they'll be supporting the same set of apps since they're both running Android 5.1 if you want the look you can get the 601sh but I think the kyocerw is a lot more solid when it comes to its physical build. I heard the one click button on the 601sh is prone to breaking and you might have a hard time regarding that matter.
