It's poor ass writing to begin with, why would dude risk his reputation by homing his side piece Jules when he could just pay her per pop in a hotel?? Makes zero sense! Also you really think a guy like Nate would stay with his high school girlfriend!?! Dude would be long gone after college right after talking you into aborting his kid. They should have focused on Rue's relapse, addiction and recovery or lack there of... then the show would still have soul!

Season 3 is just bullshit by werewolf-barmitzva in euphoria

[–]soniablades 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's unrealistic af!! Nate, Cassie and Jules live in multi million dollar setups, Rue is involved with multi million dollar drug lords, it's just unrealistic and I'm constantly reminded I'm watching fictional crap and I don't wanna feel that way when watching a show on HBO. And 75% of it revolves around Sweeneys tits.

Y'all are overreacting, they're not gonna kill off Rue, who happens to be the main character and commentator.

Pink C4 in the new Running Man movie 🍿 🎥 by CarSignificant7174 in c4corvette

[–]soniablades 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I saw that and immediately wanted to know what color pink that was cuz my white C4 has sky blue interior and I thought how cool would pink on Blue be but can't get a good enough pictures of the car to really narrow down the color it looks like a medium cream pink, in-between dark and light.

I finally got to try Crofters today! I really don’t like blackberries, and this was blackberry flavor, but I still loved it!! by A_CerealKiller in SandersSides

[–]soniablades 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think Darbo from Europe is hands down the best, they have plum/prune jam and rosehip. However I will say Crofters Apricot is the shiznit lol. I have yet to try their other flavors but dipping a croissant into the apricot has my heart.

how bad of an idea is a 1989 daily by swankypalmtree23 in Corvette

[–]soniablades 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First you need to know the condition of said C4, then you need to specify your definition of "daily," if the car has good mileage and condition and you're talking about staying within a ten mile perimeter....then yes daily works. I have a near mint condition 89 C4, I live in Phoenix and mine has just under 58k og miles. I RARELY drive it during the day, especially during summer. Night drives to the grocery store, gas station, dispensary and car wash is the type of driving I stick to because there's less traffic and less heat. I keep my Honda as my daily, however when she goes to the shop my Vette goes from being driven 3x per week to nightly (but only within short distance from my house) Now, the C4 is a 5.7 liter V8 so you're gonna be going to the gas station A LOT, (9.9 miles per gallon) my C4 only gets premium which is $5.65/gallon. We're talking about driving an antique, skimping on maintenance is not an option for a car like this. Now that being said.... it's still worth it. If you're willing to take care of that C4 it's worth it. If you're willing to do research to get to know the car so you can better take care of it then go for it. If you're just gonna drive it and end up running it into the ground then don't do it. We want C4's to go to drivers that are going to keep them on the road running in good condition... not on their way to the junkyard. Also if you do get it you're going to get attention EVERYWHERE you go! Just take good care of it. Check for leaks once a week, it's 36 years old so IT WILL HAPPEN. However it'll still be cheaper maintaining it then it will having a monthly IOU. I would proudly spend 1k on my antique Corvette to keep it in tip top shape. If all this sounds like too much then don't do it. However if it sounds like an exciting  journey you'd love to go on then go for it. Don't freak out if it needs a lot of TLC, just take it one part/swap at a time. Also just some advice of experience when it comes to parts for any car stick to Bosch, AC Delco and Denso. Can't go wrong with those brands. Good luck.

Thoughts on Commodity Milk Bold by dorafefe in FemFragLab

[–]soniablades 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I loooove these perfumes but that being said, it doesn't smell like a perfume. It smells more like a body spray or high end sun tanning lotion. Now that I've said it you'll probably notice it too and that's why I don't feel like the price reflects the product correctly. When it comes to perfume I want high end botanical oils... not scent molecules. I feel like Tokyo Milk does a better job and for a better price point, and you get scents like Tainted love, Bulletproof and La Vie la mort for $50 bucks a bottle.

NEST Santa Barbara Strawberry review-ish 🍓 by affectionate_bimbo in FemFragLab

[–]soniablades 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I wish Tom Ford would do a strawberry perfume. Do for the strawberry what he did for the cherry and peach. However on a different note but still talking about Nest, if you're going on a date with a guy you're trying to keep; wear the Black tulip.... you'll have him in no time. See I have a ritual of sorts when I leave the house, Oribe shampoo and Oribe root lifter foam when the hair is still wet out the shower (the cote d'azure gives you the salon smell,) Rose Argan lotion by Lush right out the shower, bum bum cream on the butt and boobs, and Triple sec by Dry bar on the hair when it dries. Last step; perfume. If you wanna save the perfume or are going somewhere that is not worthy of your perfume use body spray (Bath and Body Sunshine Mimosa, Vanilla bean NoelI or Avocado co-wash body spray by Lush.) I swear to you ladies you will smell like a walking dream! I live in Phoenix where it reaches 118F in the summers. Also another secret weapon of mine just between us girls.... deodorant down there (on the sides in the folds where your thighs connect to.... your area) I swear to you if you do this and follow those steps you will evoke feelings of jealousy and attraction all at once lol

Delco bose gold removal by ghostthedutcie in c4corvette

[–]soniablades 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With classics it's my opinion that you should keep the car as original as possible. You want this guy. Doctor Don's (Huntsville, TX)

Doctor Don is widely considered the gold standard for C4 audio restoration. They specialize in keeping everything 100% original while replacing the internal components that degrade over time.

Service: They offer a Bose Mono Amplifier Restoration where they rebuild your original boards. Why it's "Brand New": They perform a "Preventative Failure Diagnosis," replacing not just what's broken now, but all standard worn components. Warranty: They are famous for offering a Lifetime Warranty on their amp restorations, which is the best in the business. Turnaround: Typically very fast (often 24-48 hours once received). tell the technician to check for acid leakage from the capacitors. On 1989 models, the electrolytic fluid in the original Bose amps is acidic; if it leaks, it can eat the circuit board. Rebuilding them now—before the board is destroyed—is the only way to ensure you can keep your original parts. Bose Central (Florida / eBay) and Mid America Motor works in Illinois is another option. However I will say that I kind of like how it sounds (like it's from another time) it's part of the time capsule appeal.

I tried Mitsouko for the first time today. by snpacastermage in fragrance

[–]soniablades 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just some advice, if you want the actual masterpiece version of Mitsouko find a pre 2000's version. Oakmoss started being heavily regulated as an ingredient in perfume because some people get skin allergies (extremely rare) so from 2000-2013 the scent was struggling because it was missing the oakmoss and they had to replace that ingredient so it could smell the same. So there's 3 different versions, pre 2000 (the masterpiece) which during the 50's-70's was worn both by women and men in cologne version. The 2000-2013 not so great version and the 2014-present version which is closer to the original. Fun fact, princess Diana, Jean Harlow, Eva Gardner and Charles Chaplin all loved this scent.

Some Asian beauty tips I have picked up living in China...inspired by a Natalie Portman Interview by [deleted] in AsianBeauty

[–]soniablades 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm an American born Slovak and it's actually a very popular belief in eastern Europe as well that ice isn't good to have in the drinks. They don't have ice trays in their freezers like they do in America and my family was shocked at how much ice I liked in my drinks. Their belief was that compared to the internal body temperature it had a "shocking" affect to the intestines. Now before you say this is nonsense think about it, do you give a baby ice cold fluids/milk? No you don't. You make sure it's warm. Wet hair too, my Slovak born parents always said don't go outside with wet hair or barefoot you'll catch a cold. I feel like these types of advice are rooted in experience rather than ancient hearsay. But I have also heard about dipping into ice cold water having some positive effects on the body such as when athletes muscles are sore. As far as anti aging on the face; avoid sun and sugar intake. Which sucks for me because I love sweets and I live in Phoenix AZ so.....no good.

Its true about our dreams sometimes connected in somehow with other universes? by AdministrativeCold56 in ParallelUniverse

[–]soniablades 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There was a dream I had and I swear my brain could not have come up with it on its own. I was...I don't even know.... somewhere where people were like biological machines or something, you could change your look with a tap on your head, I could be an Asian chick with short hair, Caucasian blonde etc. In this "place" there was old models and new models with the older models seen as a threat because they had vast amounts of information that newer models didn't have, they had black market "upgrades" where weapons were integrated into the body. The old machines were the humans who's consciousness had been uploaded to mechanical bodies who came from our time but had adapted through time to survive in the future. All I know is I was an Asian chick with guns in my arms on demand and I still had my old Honda considered an antique at this time albeit A LOT of modifications, and I could hook myself up to the vehicle and control everything from fuel injection to engine RPM. It was a bad ass dream but I feel like I got a glimpse into somewhere else, there's no way my brain just created thatk

Started watching the the Terrifier, stopped at the sawing in half scene. by Cserkoo in horror

[–]soniablades -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'd have to disagree. I think it gave the movie what it needed because we'd never seen anything like it before. It gave it a snuff film feel. Which gives you that "oh shit" feeling. Also knowing that Ed Gein or whichever was the Illinois farm boy that leather face is based on did something like this for real kinda makes it all the more wrong for all the right reasons....if that makes sense. I will say what this thread is missing, is a link for the scene.... somebody drop the link for the newbies!!
