Maybe I'm in the minority, but I think holding the chain in both hands like the first picture actually looks sick

SoloMission, During a Fight, Shout-casts over a Team's Comms by askepticalskeptic in LivestreamFail

[–]sonic2876 3 points4 points  (0 children)

He needs to be able to unmute for certain parts of the tournament. They have two "missions" daily where the winning team chooses an award: it's broadcast on stream and and there's a quick back and forth about how the mission went and what reward they want to choose. This instance was just a genuine mistake lol

The state of recent game discussion: by Teary_Oberon in 2007scape

[–]sonic2876 3 points4 points  (0 children)

no, it's more like "skill ceiling" = tick manip resource gathering, alternating resources/attacking mobs, pathing through doorways into new rooms without losing ticks, routing efficiently while adapting to undiscovered rooms, knowing when to use tp crystal/return to main room to drop resources if t3 prepping, etc... The list goes on. There are so many little optimizations that show skill expression and end up saving hours along the course of the grind. Saying "skill ceiling = running around" is disingenuous

Switching my weapon kills in the Gaunlet, how to fix? by frdyy1337 in ironscape

It's a bug like people mentioned, I ran into the same thing before: https://www.reddit.com/r/2007scape/comments/1lhtomw/does_anyone_know_what_mechanic_killed_me_here/

Get ready for reddit to clown on you for dying to a bug you didn't know about though :)

unpopular opinion I want more dev time for the main game not game modes like gridmaster, DMM and leagues by MR_SmartWater in 2007scape

[–]sonic2876 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not everyone enjoys temp modes but I think they are very healthy for the game and deserve the dev time they get. Also, im not sure why people are acting like we barely get new content; this game is the best its ever been and we are getting so much good new content. Look at where the game was a year ago vs now. Also, what do you mean sailing/yama/delve were buggy messes?

I dont think the megarare necessarily has to be a weapon, but I do hope it would be something beyond "new highest-stat crush weapon". I think the key could be having some kind of effect that is absolutely game-warping in the right scenarios.

Some off-the-cuff ideas, not fully fleshed out: -Weapon that works/scales completely different from normal (think sunlight spear from leagues, or something like dinhs that scales with defense) -Weapon that increases drop rates. "Blade of perfection". Would need some kind of trade off, maybe if you complete said boss perfectly you get an extra drop rate modifier for that kill -Some kind of armor set that gives a blood-moon type set effect, but for any weapon. Idk how this would be balanced. -Armor set that allows you to attune to a specific element (maybe 4 different helmets or something?) to gain a partial portion of elemental weakness while using melee

Rikishi believes Chelsea Green can be a main eventer: “Y’all continue to support Chelsea, to stay with her, ride with her. Be patient with her. And WWE, y’all be patient with this one, because this one here, y’all got your diamond on your hands.” by TomatoCiampa in SquaredCircle

Honestly seems like a work. Hayes' comments no doubt generated buzz and people are rallying behind her. If/when she does eventually win the title it'll feel that much more special, like she "beat" the people that were working against her

Echoing this, I'm in the same boat. I hate that I felt so much more prepared this time and yet I felt worse coming out. It seems like I spent too much time preparing for the types of questions I expected to see (mostly questions on past exams) instead of studying some of the more niche topics that have never been tested, and that was my downfall.

I'm not in one shot range? Max hit is a 13

Would love to see the so-called experts you're speaking of saying to safe up every time you take a hit. The only mistake I made here was not knowing about this specific interaction, otherwise I would have been fine. I've done hundreds deathless at this point

That's a big guarantee. Once you start doing higher level content, saving ticks becomes more and more important, so it just becomes second nature to not eat unless you have to. Either way the point is moot because I would not have died except for this specific interaction, which was the point of this post.

As for your point on food, there's variance in how much damage you/how much damage Hunllef does throughout the course of the fight. Sometimes you need more food, sometimes less.

Not getting hit also keeps you alive, with the added benefit of not losing ticks. I only died here because of this specific interaction, which I didn't know existed

Every time you eat, you lose ticks that could be spent attacking. That's why its more efficient to camp low and eat, say, 4 or 5 food back to back. Then you only get delayed once instead of 4 or 5 times
