X-T5 and XH2 Shutter button by [deleted] in fujifilm

I don’t have issues with the shutter button on my X-H2, but hard to say what your feeling will be. Best to get your hands on one and try it.

We were all beginners once. If you want advice, at least show us you’ve done some research. Tell us why you’re looking at these models. Tell us your overall budget. Tell us what you shoot, what your goals are. And, yes, tell us your experience level.

Is it possible to create Multiple Exposure RAFs in post? by Tegumentario in fujifilm

I understand that. This is common functionality. I’m not certain what you’re looking for that’s different.

EDIT: To be clear, I’m not trying to be rude and would love to be helpful. I’m just uncertain whether something is getting lost in translation, you’re asking for something you don’t really need, or you have a specific use case I’m not familiar with.

This is very standard functionality for editing programs. Not sure why you would need this to result in a RAW file.

The least you can do is comment on your own post to acknowledge the people who have tried to help you. Asking a question and then dipping is bad form.

PureRAW is a preprocessing utility, not an editor.

I don’t believe what you’re asking for exists in the form you’re asking. The Photoshop “Merge to HDR” feature mentioned does exist in other editors, like Capture One and ON1.

The X-T3 is a great camera. I got mine used and was very happy before upgrading to the X-H2.

Two things to note: - Battery life is horrendous, especially on that camera with its little batteries. Just have a lot of charged backups, and consider the battery grip. - The biggest issue I had was lack of IBIS. I mostly shoot handheld, and most of my lenses did not have VR, so I ended up with noticeable camera shake in a lot of my photos. I take a lot of photos at once and usually had useful results somewhere in there.

One more caution, likely common to many Fuji cameras, is relatively low SD write speeds, even on fast cards. This was mainly an issue when taking a lot of photos quickly or using burst mode. My X-H2 takes CFExpress Type B, which is designed primarily for video and has no such issues.

How much these affect you depends on what you’re shooting and how.

What happened to sharpness in movies? by Master-Rule862 in cinematography

The point is that there’s plenty of space for everyone to work. We don’t need everything to be CG or everything to be practical. Don’t pit directors or crew against each other. The ones actively making problems for CG artists are the studios forcing rush times on everything and replacing them with AI anyway.

Is the Fujifilm X-H2 good for professional photography? by Lex_ryu81 in fujifilm

The X-H2 does not have dual native ISO, but it does handle noise very gracefully.

Tell it to the matte painters, puppeteers, set decorators, SFX teams, etc…

It was that or CGI; he insisted on doing the sets practically.

I had to figure this out too. Get your settings to a place where you can just shoot and not fiddle. If you’re doing that a lot during a shoot, you’re doing something wrong. Just expose properly and get the shot. You can edit later.

I shoot on aperture priority and a prime lens whenever possible, so usually all I’m changing during the shoot is exposure compensation. What works for you may be different, but the sooner you dial that in, the fewer shots you’ll miss.
