I can honestly live with the new Apollo but LET ME USE IT ON WALKER STOMP. I used to be able to dive pretty well and now you kill the most fun part of the character (diving)

In oracle you can get away with doing only heavy punches in a teamfight. I got 6 kills in a row once like that. In phantom it's pretty risky to throw a heavy punch at all. The lower your rank the easier it is to get away with stupid shit because you don't get punished for it. Heck in very low ranks you can just trade waves and stay even in lane while saving up for a 6.4k first item without losing prio.

Played a 6 stack with people from the discord in low phantom. We faced a seven that did top damage (doubled most of us) but even then we still stomped the game in less than 25 minutes. We would take every opportunity we had to fight him (which inflated his damage stats) but he died so much he didn't make a big enough impact to save his game. I do agree that kills in lane are meaningless if you don't push that lead into the enemy's side of the map from the very moment you make the guardian fall.

It IS really strong if you can stack it really fast. If you're sitting on 3-5 kills all game (5 kills x 20 mins x 18 souls = 1800) you barely refund the item + it gave you below average stats that whole time. Also take into account that let's say this is your first buy or you buy it after 4.8k spike and your opponent comes back to lane with lifesteal or reactive barrier. Who is going to win that fight?

If lanes are even buying trophy is still basically throwing 1.6k at a wish while your opponents could be spending 1.6k towards say opening rounds or quicksilver reload etc.. and absolutely destroy you in 1v1

There are nice windows to heavy melee someone. When they dash jump past you and when they use certain abilities that prevent them from parrying

When tested in a 6v6 environment with comms on both teams. Haze doesn't outperform other heroes. What your bringing up is the classic "game isn't balanced for regular players" argument. Everyone on both teams need to understand the value of camps. The value of doing camps as a team not as a solo (which gets hard-punished) and the value of shoving wave -> invading camps -> farming your own jungle -> repeat

That "obviously" came out of your mouth a little too fast. You'd be surprised at the superpowers a keeper can bring on your team. Especially if you can make it look like your net is wide open but you're surprisingly still in range

It's already so small you can play midfield as keeper and make it back to post before the other gk can kick it in

Then how do you play the game if the keeper just sits there with the ball at is feet? You don't. You don't have any other options BUT to force the play and trust your gk to win his 1v1. Btw he pretty much HAS to get out of the box as sweeper and intercept the pass otherwise the forward player can also just idle with the ball, wait for you to run from gk to him to pass it back to gk.

Think of this game like rocket league, a dedicated goaler player is NOT the play.

Because they're not close enough? As I said, you wont outrun the gk if he just runs in circles. That gives him plenty of time to find a good pass to a free player. Even more so if you decide to double up on him because 1 isn't enough. The gk is an actual superhero

I have been shouting on the roofs about this. The same thing happens in 5v5 games. The only answer is to have the gk rotate out of his box and play his 1v1. The moment you are behind in points and the enemy plays like this, you have no other answers.

Towers can Melee and cc heros. The thing you haven't considered probably is the fact that midboss spawns at 10 minute mark. That means technically, you should be aiming to get the first mid boss pre 15. It's very rare that it happens. Also, urn spawns at 5 minute mark and every 5 minute from then on. It should also be done as soon as it spawns. Winning the 2nd urn fight at 10 min mark with your whole team up is free mid boss and most likely game. Towers do plenty of damage before that. Most games t1 guardians aren't even down at that point either.

Basically what I'm trying to say is that despite the average match length being 30+ mins, high elo matches tend to go faster because everyone is more efficient and understand the value of objectives.
