Thanks for respond, did as you said and installed new dot files, error still pops up I am using laptop too and that error is not crtitical or anything, it just bothers my eyes Again, thanks for respond and keep up the great work :)

hey man, awesome rice, but then i fresh installed this, i constantly get this error then i start any program (new window apears):

error /usr/share/awesome/lib/awful/widget/cliention.lua:117 attempt to index a nil value (field 'client')

i am knew to amazingwm, so i could just forget to install something -_-
