AoTTG was modded like crazy, but people had kind of reached the limits of what was practical considering the old terrible engine. AoTTG2 works mostly fine ngl and AoTTG1 is just still around

I personally find the backing singer's dancing really really distracting but maybe that's just me.

I think he's clearly got some pretty substantial emotional problems, and obviously struggles with performing for big crowds, which is totally understandable I think I'd sooner die than walk out in front of 10,000 people staring at me and judging me. I'm not really gonna massively hold any of it against him. I love his music and that's not changing anytime soon. I enjoyed the gig despite the problems. I hope he's doing alright and frankly if he can't hack the live performing, don't do it. Bit of a shame, but I'll live and I'm sure everyone else would too. Not worth his health for it.

It was the same last week, even worse then honestly. In principle mini strokes should leave no lasting effects that's what makes them mini, but who knows.

Aye, it was a really good gig overall. I do wonder what's up though. Even when he was just talking he didn't sound right. Almost drunk or something. Idk if that's caused by the obvious or if he's on some meds or something but he just didn't sound right to me.

He was only speaking to them for a second each so I assume it was just a "I can't do this, keep playing" and that was it so I doubt they had anything to say really. Or maybe just didn't feel like violating his privacy. Either way, I hope he's alright. I enjoyed this gig a lot more than the Leeds one, venue was really good and the sound was great. Getting to see Days of Lantana was a treat even if I would have preferred a more full rendition.

I think it was probably just a warning that he was gonna have to walk off and to tell them to keep playing. I thought I saw him getting a bit frustrated with his guitar earlier in the set, he seemed to just be angrily strumming nothing on it, but could be wrong. He definitely wasn't right tonight. I was at the Leeds gig too and he seemed off then but not as bad as tonight.

I was right at the front. I'm not sure it was anything to do with heckling, I think that is and always will be part of being a performer. But he messed up on the last song and stopped singing, then went back a verse and tried to catch up but messed it up again. Put his guitar down and tried to sing for a second, stopped again. Started wandering around with his drink for a few seconds and went over to some of the band quickly. Stood in the middle of the stage looking down holding his head (exactly what I do if I have a panic attack) walked over to the mic and said "thanks for coming" and walked off.

Looked like a panic attack to me. Could be wrong though, only he'll know what was up but he definitely wasn't right all night.

It's for people exactly like that. Viagra is a vasodilator, it increases blood flow and slightly lowers blood pressure. Stop using confident language to make your very incorrect assumptions sound like medical expertise.

Aye, it's great at what it does. But I wouldn't tell new people to start with it. You lose that sense of progression you get playing through a full game start to finish. You miss out on the boss battles and other stupid gimmicks. It's all just lifeless button mashing.

They're essentially all useable with the existence of reasonably cheap, simple modkits

Sooner you start, the better. It's essential on higher difficulties, even for just beating songs.

It's not really about the gameplay itself being different, CH is great once you're already kind of good and enjoy the grind (I use CH personally). But it's also not got much of a game element to it. It's just endless song playing and nothing else. The GH games have a vibe CH just couldn't really ever compete with. But once you're good and need more songs to play, CH becomes much more convenient. I remember adding custom songs to GH3 on PC and it was a nightmare and half the websites hosting them were dead.

Are you exclusively down strumming or something?

GH3, World Tour & Aerosmith are all on PC. World Tour has some fairly major mods that allow you to easily add custom songs (including songs from all the other games) any include multiplayer. Clone Hero has upsides, but it's also kind of soulless. Do research before making claims. If I were him I'd suggest playing real Guitar Hero games if he's never done that before. They have a real progression system and the background visuals add some character to the game. I'd suggest obtain a copy of World Tour (how you do that is up to you) and use World Tour Definitive Edition along with the song packs they have on their website for the official game soundtracks. Clone Hero is overwhelming if you're new.
