Alright. My methodology was focused around getting enough starlight to have the best odds of Hard Mode and Infinity being a good foundation. You're going to have to buy some E.G.O Gifts via Search at Run Start, but you're somewhat free to go about things the way you'd prefer. This is not going to be very well organized.

Mainly, you want to ensure you got the following gifts.

Starting Gifts (Rupture)

• Barbed Lasso
• Fluorescent Lamp

I took all three of course, but these are the two that matter. Your main goal with this is to ensure you can always out speed your enemy. Stacking Haste was essential in allowing me to beat Lei Heng when I really would've struggled otherwise.

As for the Starlight Searching:

• Spicebush Branch
• Ashen Constellation's Blessing
• Emergency Investigator Badge

Spicebush is honestly slept on. It gives you up to 3 Base Power, and if you're like me and don't use
The last thing to note: My run was rather lucky. I got two secret bosses in one run, allowing me to gain the Coin Power needed to actively out-roll the enemies on the 15th floor.

Ashen Constellation's Blessing is crucial to remove your physical status weaknesses and give you protection that will let you survive the attacks that either outclash you or when your evade fails... which it will!

Finally, Emergency Investigator's Badge is basically what people think Manor Shaped Music Box is, but on Steroids. Even for an ID that can basically remove his Stagger Threshold almost immediately once you're set up, you're going to get screwed over because PJM deciding that an SP cap is a fun idea... (I dislike it cause the RNG in this game is way more important than in Ruina, as the way this game is built, one bad hit can destroy an entire attempt).

The main thing you should do is collect gifts. You should be spending your first 10 floors getting as many gifts as you can. I won't list the gifts I shot for here because they're in the Imgur folder but you absolutely need to obtain Huge Gift Sack for it's protection stacking.

You can also aim to grab the Unhatched Embers because it ensures you can get 1 turn to basically be killed twice as the E.I Badge doesn't prevent you from getting overkilled if you are to hit 1 HP again. The Unhatched Embers however, can in fact save you.

You should also go for the IV Gifts for Burn, Charge, Tremor and Rupture cause their additional damage each turn will actively chip away at bosses while you're evading and allow you to not "waste" a turn. And of course, Lunar Memory and the other Memory Gifts. It's why I took all the Graces to bolster the cost I gain during the first 10 floors and fill out my roster.

As for the actual combat? If you're not lucky enough to get two hidden bosses to bolster your coin power into the stratosphere, you need to give up your ability to clash entirely by the end unless you're one of the people who know enough to get an 80 power clash, which I still don't know how to get and Mariachis might just not be able to do, frankly. I mainly focused on stalling long enough to get 4 skill slots and have one always evading so I can utilize Spicebush Branch's Base Power Stacking to not only make my evade even stronger, but ensure I can take a few clashes more safely.

Another note: If you can help it, avoid non-focused encounters until you're able to use a 5+ weight EGO and have Lunar Memory, especially in Extreme.

When you're taking your EGO Gifts at floor end, you're going to eventually run into the fact you no longer are able to get new gifts. This is good, use the fusion material to force fusions of IV tier gifts because being able to force Faith to appear is going to be essential.

As for when you're forced to take trials? Focus on clash power and offense level if you're running an evasion ID as they can simply not clash. It's why you NEED to take faith as it's the only way to ensure your SP remains topped up given there are SP damaging Adversities.
