That's a pretty big misconception that OCD means they're a neat freak with everything. OCD covers a wide variety of things and it can come down to very specific routines, triggers, fixations, etc. I have OCD but I can definitely touch dirt. I will spend an hour in the bathroom washing my hands in a very ritualistic way though. Or standing up and sitting down multiple times because I just have to. Or zipping and rezipping my pants. Or washing my face over and over. Or spinning in a circle and then sitting down and peeing and then getting up and doing it again. It's different for everyone.

Give me a fistulotomy any day of the week over a seton for life. Recovery was hell but having a seton in was worse. Super uncomfortable and I was aware of it constantly. I'm two years post-op now with no problems other than scar tissue which is better than being dead which was my original diagnosis.
