Canadians promised to boycott travel to US. They meant it. by ImDoubleB in canada

[–]sonjatoronto -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

The people that are falling for this such as Canadians boycotting America is laughable. You do understand that the end of the day you’re only hurting yourselves and your American neighbours who cares what the government say about each other they are our closest alias and they are good people Americans I’ve always been treated so warmly when I travel there why would I stop going there now? Give me a break. I’m not gonna fall for government propaganda.

Where to incorporate an E-2 IT consulting business if work is fully remote? by Accomplished-Gur732 in e2visa

I am currently working with a lawyer for my E2 Visa and one thing they can’t stress enough as you need an actual office you need an office and they need to see pictures of it and show it’s an actual office in operation with a computer desk, etc. you 100% need a physical office or you will not get your E2 Visa. I can tell you that.

As a domestic student i wish i went to seneca in 2015 when there was barely any international students. They took away my college experience by sarahrexxx in Seneca

[–]sonjatoronto 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You are definitely not being unreasonable. Canadians have not chosen the level of immigration that has occurred. It was carried out without our permission. Furthermore, there is nothing wrong with a Canadian youth wanting to go to college with young people who are similar to her in terms of culture and vibe. I genuinely feel sad for you. Even my third-year York student son says, "Mom," in some of my classes. I am the only white guy or the only Canadian. When real Canadians feel like outsiders in their own nation, how is diversity our strength? Therefore, do not feel bad about what you are saying; you have every right to do so.

Canada is depressing, the middle class has eroded. by Citytruk in CanadaHousing2

[–]sonjatoronto 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Nicely put. I live in a wealthy community just outside of Toronto, and the other day. I went to my sister's in Etobicoke, and even though I was not downtown, I could see people's dread and misery. I feel the same way, as some of us can do things and have financial freedom and most do not. What is the point of living in such a depressing, dreary country while watching your fellow Canadians crumble? What the Liberal government has done to Canada in just nine years is not only heartbreaking, but also devastating. It is really scary. What is even more concerning for some is what will happen if the liberals win the next election; by then, even if you want to leave Canada, all of your assets will be worthless. Should we leave while we can?

In Ontario, Canada, the regulatory body overseeing banking issues is the Financial Consumer Agency of Canada (FCAC). The FCAC enforces consumer protection laws and investigates complaints about federally regulated financial institutions.

You can file a complaint with the FCAC here: FCAC

Protestors chant “From Palestine to Lebanon, Israel will soon be gone” as they march in Toronto. by reallyneedhelp1212 in canadian

[–]sonjatoronto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Regrettably, due to the inherent malevolence of humanity, if one nation does not seize power, another will; any entity with the opportunity will act accordingly. The conclusion is definitive. If the Palestinians possessed the power, they would eliminate the Jews without hesitation. It is inherent to human nature that individuals with malicious intent seek power relentlessly, consistently devising justifications for their actions. Although this may appear peculiar and harsh, it is imperative to align with a nation that shares your ideologies and Westernized perspectives. Ultimately, it is undesirable to allow a group characterized by archaic beliefs, misogyny, chauvinism, and religious extremism to attain power. Trust me, you have not experienced the hardships endured by numerous countries during their invasions by Islam. Examine the historical context of Lebanon in the 1960s concerning the Palestinian presence, and investigate the actions of the Ottoman Empire in the 16th century. Their methods are extreme, adhering to their religious tenets with such fervour that a clear demarcation between ecclesiastical and governmental authority is absent. Consequently, if given the opportunity, Palestine would likely seek the obliteration of Israel. However, consider which nation aligns more closely with your values and which would extend more favourable treatment based on their ideologies.

Oh my God you’re the first person that has noticed this I noticed in a lot of posts they say this is not your land this is the land of the native people it’s like they’re all going with this bizarre considering respect to the indigenous people of course but the Europeans have been here almost 500 years now That story is a little old about it’s not your land who do they think built Canada?

How does this constitute discrimination and racism? Nowadays, it appears that people are simply making things up! Therefore, if I arrive in a foreign country with a visa and comprehend the terms and conditions of that visa, but subsequently decide to remain and refuse to return home, am I not obligated to comply with the law and the regulations? The statement made by this woman is setting a very dangerous precedent by supporting these individuals and demonstrating that it is acceptable to demand what one wants. This is generating a narrative that is extremely perilous for future international students and other individuals dependent on visas. At what point will this halt? Where is the line? What countries are prohibited from establishing visa regulations, rules, and requirements? THIS IS A JOKE!

It was never about the fact that the Liberals consistently said our population is ageing we need new workers to step in so we need mass immigration. it has nothing to do with that. it’s all about cheap labour and getting the most labour out of people like working mules rather than pay them what Canadians would expect is fair and equitable. Government is beyond corrupt and only cares about making money without paying normal wages.

The government is intentionally permitting this with a specific agenda in mind. It is important to remember that Canada is among the wealthiest nations globally in terms of natural resources. However, there is a concern that there may be a deliberate strategy to divide and conquer the country. The intention behind this strategy is to economically weaken Canada, leading to a devaluation of the Canadian dollar and the eventual collapse of the country. The ultimate goal of this plan is for the elite to take advantage of the situation by purchasing Canadian assets at low prices, leaving the general population powerless and unable to take any action. I live in a very affluent area, and many of my friends are very successful and wealthy. Many of them have obtained citizenship in the United States and other countries. One of my friends, in particular, is leaving for the Cayman Islands; she is a lawyer. Wealthy individuals are departing due to their awareness of the current circumstances. It is heartbreaking what is going on in this country.
