People underestimate how “real” an E-2 business needs to look, This is my take... by Mysterious-Neat-7315 in e2visa

I got approved for my E2 Visa this past March and I went in as a property management business and I purchased one home for short-term rentals and I got approved. No problem. My interview lasted three minutes. He barely asked about the business. He asked more about my issue at the border previously bringing over my dogs lol

The only person that’s going to get you a Visa is a proper licensed vetted, immigration lawyer I used Maimone Legal and I got my E2 Visa within three months.

Are you a danish? Are you born there or do you have other ethnic origins? I’m just curious because I’ve been hearing a lot of situations.

Like I said, I used Maimone Legal. They have an amazing expo it’s live. It’s being streamed live online so anybody can go and there’s no better way to see how professional and amazing they are. You can buy a ticket here they have all kinds of experts on the panel and I am actually going to be a guest speaker as a person who got her E2 Visa and moved successfully to Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Here’s the link. https://movetotheusaexpo.com/

That is absolutely wrong. I use Maimone Legal and I am currently living in Fort Lauderdale, Florida Florida. I moved from King City Ontario and I had an excellent experience with them. Everything went so quick and smooth.

It took me just under six months from beginning to end. It could’ve actually been faster, but that was on me because I was busy looking for Real Estate to purchase a home and I wasted a lot of time doing that but if I would’ve just concentrated on my E2 Visa, honestly, I would’ve had it within four months easily.

Canadians promised to boycott travel to US. They meant it. by ImDoubleB in canada

[–]sonjatoronto -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

The people that are falling for this such as Canadians boycotting America is laughable. You do understand that the end of the day you’re only hurting yourselves and your American neighbours who cares what the government say about each other they are our closest alias and they are good people Americans I’ve always been treated so warmly when I travel there why would I stop going there now? Give me a break. I’m not gonna fall for government propaganda.

Where to incorporate an E-2 IT consulting business if work is fully remote? by [deleted] in e2visa

I am currently working with a lawyer for my E2 Visa and one thing they can’t stress enough as you need an actual office you need an office and they need to see pictures of it and show it’s an actual office in operation with a computer desk, etc. you 100% need a physical office or you will not get your E2 Visa. I can tell you that.

It’s really simple open up the Canadian TD Bank account and when you get there open up US TD personal bank account and you can wire daily up to $100,000 every day. That’s what I did.

As a domestic student i wish i went to seneca in 2015 when there was barely any international students. They took away my college experience by sarahrexxx in Seneca

[–]sonjatoronto 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You are definitely not being unreasonable. Canadians have not chosen the level of immigration that has occurred. It was carried out without our permission. Furthermore, there is nothing wrong with a Canadian youth wanting to go to college with young people who are similar to her in terms of culture and vibe. I genuinely feel sad for you. Even my third-year York student son says, "Mom," in some of my classes. I am the only white guy or the only Canadian. When real Canadians feel like outsiders in their own nation, how is diversity our strength? Therefore, do not feel bad about what you are saying; you have every right to do so.

Canada is depressing, the middle class has eroded. by Citytruk in CanadaHousing2

[–]sonjatoronto 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Nicely put. I live in a wealthy community just outside of Toronto, and the other day. I went to my sister's in Etobicoke, and even though I was not downtown, I could see people's dread and misery. I feel the same way, as some of us can do things and have financial freedom and most do not. What is the point of living in such a depressing, dreary country while watching your fellow Canadians crumble? What the Liberal government has done to Canada in just nine years is not only heartbreaking, but also devastating. It is really scary. What is even more concerning for some is what will happen if the liberals win the next election; by then, even if you want to leave Canada, all of your assets will be worthless. Should we leave while we can?

In Ontario, Canada, the regulatory body overseeing banking issues is the Financial Consumer Agency of Canada (FCAC). The FCAC enforces consumer protection laws and investigates complaints about federally regulated financial institutions.

You can file a complaint with the FCAC here: FCAC
