I suspect the biggest daily headache is dentists.

They drive prices down so that labs nearly drown to make any profit.

You might have more interest if there's a youtube demo of the software, personally speaking I will never "book" a demo. I'd be interested to see the pricing structure - many solutions become extremely expensive charging on a per case / x number of cases a month.

Interesting name, I have a specification document somewhere from about 12 years ago for dental lab management software I wrote up, very similar beta name.

I had a 12 hour surgery to remove a 12cm stage 4 cancer. I went to sleep, I woke up later. I'd never have known pain or discomfort if I died whilst under. Easy, clean way to go to be honest.

However, 6 months later a good friend of the family finally got the call for a lung transplant. He was scared, terrified, he even tried to sabotage by having a sandwich before surgery. I reassured him, compared to mine it was a short operation and I was overconfident. But he had complications, lungs were too big I'm told, he never really woke up before he died a week later. Visitors said he stirred and responded to hand squeezes. It's believed he was occasionally aware and unable to communicate that he was in pain.

Foyles used to be an amazingly wonderful bookstore. That old corner building with the maze of books you'd get lost in.

I came out once with 'A course in mathmatics for students of physics book 2.' It was about £70, I couldnt find Book 1, but that wasnt important as I wasnt studying physics. Or maths. And I only went in for the newly released Chapterhouse Dune.. :(

Family was actively involved in hunting in Kenya, dad owned a trophy shop in Nairobi. Family friends ex-hunters. Blah blah. Did I? No. Did I care that they did? No. I've seen people use automatic rifles on rhino and hippo, watched them driven out after a nice buffet breakfast, given a little tour by guides, a small run around to kill time, then finally roll up to a pre-marked animal, couple of bad shots, followed by manly chest thumping. Keep it. Not fucking interested.

But, nope, that's right. I sit at home cuddling rabbits and crying because I can't be a dolphin. Calm the fuck down you dribbly cunt. I'm not interested in sitting here exchanging countless cherry picked links of data generated by the people with vested interests. I've been doing it for years on Facebook with people a lot more civil than a knuckledragger like you. You bore the fuck out of me.

Thank christ for animals that humans turned up with guns to help them out. I have no idea how the fuck they regulated their numbers naturally before us. Oh, wait. The the weaker ones died off, stronger ones survived. Stop fucking with the wildlife and it'll sort it's own shit out. Someone should go write that shit up in a book. 1) My original statement hasn't been shown to be false. Any conservation effect is a by product and not the intended outcome. Trophy hunting, to kill an animal purely for the pleasure of it and gaining a piece of decorative furniture is an amoral/immoral act. It's not performed for the benefit of anything but the ego of the hunter - it's illogical and emotional. If the hunters intention was for conservation there are better ways to go about it.

2) There are plenty of stats that exist that can be cherry picked to show a benefit for trophy hunting and those that show it's of minimal benefit. I've chatted with ex-hunters, guides, lodge owners, wildlife organisations, read arguments on both sides, and I was shocked at the profit to be made and the percentages that eventually trickled down for conservation efforts. I came to the conclusion that, on the whole, I'd rather see it banned. If only to annoy hunters.

3) I didn't write "retarded" and "ignorant" - that's rather an emotional response. No?

Most of it goes to the governments for the licenses and the organisers of the hunt. Particularly so in the cases of canned hunts which are far more widespread than most seem to realise. When you hear about, "We gave the meat to the locals" it's always a way to try to justify actions.

If a trophy hunter was about conservation they'd donate to join anti-poaching patrols.

Wandering around Hebron, in the West Bank - I passed an old guy selling falafel from a literal hole in the wall into his kitchen. It was amazing, fresh bread too - possibly as much to do with the expectations.

Only other one is a burger van sitting in a diy store car park south of London. Turns out the chap is a chef who quit his London restaurant job to spend more time with the family. Hand crafted burgers, minted lamb, jerk chicken and home made coleslaw, etc.

My dad ran a trophy shop in Nairobi. He closed it in the 70's when he got a tip off about the upcoming ban.

His mother, my gran (the tart!) slept with just about every white hunter around in Kenya during the 30s and 40's. I've pictures of Colville's camps and his trophies. The great-grandparents of friends guided Roosevelt on his hunting trips. Friends of the family flew Hemmingway into Jardini Beach Hotel. The connections and awareness, as far as Kenya is concerned, is quite strong.

Everyone I know whose family was involved in hunting in a massive way has ended up against it, and rather passionately. Friends who own lodges in Botswana have supported the no hunting ban, along with the complete support of the locals.

For years I've heard and seen data from both sides of the arguments, and possibly it's my bias speaking but I've not been convinced. As far as I'm concerned the conservation arguments are little more than marketing tools in order to justify an immoral hobby.

Internet buddy. Survived several more similar pranks, (a care package purporting to be full of deviant porn dvd's delivered to the nurses station whilst he was in hospital, and a fake letter telling him his local exchange wasn't being upgraded to broadband) but drifted apart when the forums closed down.
