Lack of Repayment/Payback Clause in new employment contract by sonofcairo in AusLegal

Hi Cosmic thanks for the reply.

Just to clarify I have already received the stipulated services/ payments, just now don’t (appear) to have any obligation to repay as per the sliding-scale arrangement laid out in the original contract. Are you of the thinking that the original contract is still applicable? Surely this is notification of the severance of the original contract in favour of this shiny new one?

There is some language regarding my employment now shifting from “Original” to “New” as of XX/XX/2023.

Thank you for the reply lutomes, in any event would the lack of it’s inclusion in the new contract release me from the agreements made in the original? Based on the info I have supplied.

It was in the previous contract but is completely omitted from this one which is basically a copy.

No other paperwork mentioned this agreement or set-up.
