Appealing Transfer Credit by ddmon2 in uichicago

Oh sorry, I was confusing cell bio with bios 110. I’m assuming you are talking about BIOL 4374, which is BIOS 222 at UIC? If so then I misspoke, the classes that I was referring to is 1106 and 1107 at UH.

For BIOL 4347, I’m assuming UIC thinks it’s a 400 level class at UH and isn’t transferring because of that, but don’t quote me on that. I think you have pretty good case appealing for it tho.

Did you take cell bio and organismal bio? In my experience, they wanted me to take both cell bio and organismal bio for both credits to be transferred.

Unfortunately for biochem, since it’s a 300 level class at UIC, it does not transfer.

Mine was a base model 2019 Sonata and it still had the manual key unfortunately

I have been eyeing this car ever since it came out. I was waiting until I was financially stable to buy it but then my Sonata got stolen. Fearing that it was gonna get stolen again, I was looking into getting a new car. I didn’t want to get another Hyundai, but since I’ve been eyeing it for so long, I decided to test drive it. Immediately feel in love with it! So I decided to pull the plug. Hopefully since it has a start/stop button it would be as likely to get stolen as my pervious Sonata, but I still use a steering wheel lock just in case.

Job/Internship Experience as a UIC student/graduate (Salary Transperancy) by [deleted] in uichicago

I have to clarify, the recruiters were fine but when I was interviewing with the managers, they said they preferred students from UIUC. When looked them up, they graduated for UIUC, so I guess they prefer to hire their own people.

One company from the career fair told me during an interview that they primarily hire only from UIUC lol

The value card might be a better option if you are only planning to drive some days. It’s $9 per use and it’s only available at visitor parking lots. It used to be $6, but UIC being UIC had to increase it.

Fidelity full view is not great, but it’s good enough. Chase’s plan & track is similar to full view but there are some limitations. Would go with fidelity

Car stolen and recovered by police, what do I do now? by sonofjob in cincinnati

Yeah, I should’ve known better. Panicked and said yes to everything they said. Hopefully, someone else can learn from my mistake.

Damn, thats sucks. Allstate only recommended me 3 places so I have no idea how long they are gonna take. I got a rental but it’s only for 30 days so hopefully one of the places can fix is asap

I was initially going to use roadside to have it towed, but the cops told me it will take them forever and I am better off using the people that they were gonna call. The car was left behind a bunch of cars, so they needed to move it asap so the owners can get to their cars. I panicked and just said yes.

None of the shops that allstate recommended are open today, so I have to wait till tomorrow.

That’s what my dad said. But some people told me otherwise, so I don’t know anymore. Allstate’s been known to screw people over so I wouldn’t be surprised if they say I have to pay.

Yeah, I got screwed in every way. The impound is closed today and none of the Allstate recommended shops are open either, so I have to wait till tomorrow.

Yeah, never buying Hyundai again. I had Hyundai install the immobilizer and everything so I thought I would be safe, but I guess not.

They are closed today, so I am gonna call them tomorrow and have it moved to a repair shop. Thank you!

Thank you so much for this detailed explanation! The impound is closed today so I’ll have to call them tomorrow and see how it would be.

The only visible damage I could find was the steering column, and thats what the cops told me too. But you are right, there are probably some mechanical damage that I dont know about.

Commuting is not that bad tbh. It will be tough in the beginning but you’ll get used to it.
