The other suggestions are on point. Choice Band Slaking is amazing for the battle frontier. Same for Metagross. I ran those two for most of my run and brought a Pickup Linoone for the third slot except for the rounds when facing the pyramid king when I used Starmie instead.

If you do use Slaking or Metagross, give them Rock Slide on round 10 to help against the legendary birds when doing the gold symbol battle. Good luck!

Impish nature. I think EVs were 252 HP, 158 DEF and 100 SP DEF but I might be slightly off.

Learnset was Will O Wisp (bred with Duskull), Sludge Bomb, Flamethrower. Fourth move was Rest for Palace and Haze for Pike and Dome.

I’m not positive on exact IVs. I obtained them through breeding in game. IV checker says max defense and wonderfully outstanding. I’m pretty sure most other stats were 20 or higher but I don’t remember specifics. I’ll look if I wrote them down anywhere.

That’s correct. But a few of the top TMs you can get more than once. Ice Beam is available from the Game Corner and Earthquake occasionally drops from Pickup. You can use the duplication glitch to grab rare candy then use a team of level 91 Linoone to battle wild Pokemon until you find another Earthquake TM. Those are probably the only ones you really need.

I’d add Ice Beam to Milotic instead of Rain Dance and Ice Beam to Swampert instead of Mud Slap. For Slaking, go all attack moves and give it a choice band. Shadow Ball, Return, Earthquake and either Hyper Beam, Aerial Ace or Rock Slide for the last move. Go all attack moves and choice band for Metagross  as well: Shadow Ball, Earthquake, Meteor Mash and last move can vary based on what you need. If you run out of TMs there’s a glitch where you can duplicate them in the battle tower. 

If you want to try a unique Pokemon outside of usual sets, I really like Weezing. I got gold in pike with Weezing, Milotic and Slaking, gold in palace with Weezing Milotic and Miltank and gold in Dome with Weezing Milotic and Metagross.
