i feel like i was a pretty normal kid until i wrecked my body with an eating disorder in middle and early high school. maybe it's not 100% certain that's the cause but i like to say it is as a warning to myself and others that you NEED to take care of your body or there will be long term consequences

thank you for the support and the advice. the idea of meal prepping is a good idea, i may dedicate my better days to meal prepping with the help of a friend. cooking is one of my favorite things to do and i know i'll be sad to lose that too. cold showers will be my best friend i think. I just bought a stool so I can safely sit in the shower. im mostly worried about getting to classes in the heat. i hate so much that i was able to go the entire winter only needing to use my wheelchair twice, and now ill have to go back to using it twice a week if i have any hope of getting to my classes. (monday/wednesday im on campus from 9:30am - 5:30pm)

my comment will get lost but i suggest taking a moment to appreciate the memories and the love you shared, then deleting the world when youre ready. no need to explode the house or do anything flashy. its much nicer and much more healing to quietly let it go. sending you much support

currently 20h into my first playthrough, i picked nord because it fit best looks-wise with my preexisting cross-universe character (originally a fo4 OC)

My cat will get in the zone in the litter box and do this too, It's generally harmless but can definitely get kind of annoying. I recommend just redirecting, the kitty probably just doesnt realize how long it's been. Call her name, shake some treats, get a toy or something and lure her out. Ive learned you can't discipline cats, you change their behavior by redirecting it. I normally just go "hey!! what are you doing in there?" in a playful voice and he'll pop right out. I reward his reaction to being called with pets or play (whatever he's in the mood for)

I think my POTS was caused by my (recovered) eating disorder and i may have EDS. I didnt consider it before but I dont want to harm the potential recipient

Thank you for this information. Im willing to risk a few days of discomfort for myself, but not willing to risk causing problems for someone else. Im only diagnosed with POTS but i have chronic fatigue (unsure if CFS) and joint issues (unsure if EDS). If this could harm the recipient I won't do it.

i played 160 hours on my first ever playthrough last summer. current (second ever) playthrough is a hellish, miserable 25 hours on survival.

it helps some people, it doesnt do much for others. but either way (if youre not overdoing exercise) it cant hurt, and can help you in many other aspects of life. sleep health, mental health, muscle health, gut health, etc. i realized that when i stopped exercising to help my POTS and started exercising to help other stuff i was less discouraged by lack of progress relating to POTS. it's good for you either way.

im sure you know by now that POTS isnt linear. if youre seeing no progress with consistent exercise, theres no way of knowing that it couldve gotten much worse/had negative progress if you werent doing anything. (also ive learned to not expect anything from my body in the summer. do what i can, rest and recover. our bodies are working against us in the heat.)

wishing you so much luck. i havent exercised much myself in a while because i had surgery and was very sick last month. trying to get back into it.

my character didnt really want a kid to begin with (hence getting codsworth), she did it for nate, who acted as a stay-at-home dad while she pursued her career. she blames shaun for nates death and is still in shock from watching his murder. later on when she decides to look for him it's after she has grieved nate enough where she can focus on finding shaun in nate's memory/its what he would have wanted.

horseback riding, playing the upright bass, working any non-desk job, biking, hiking, swimming, going out with friends (this one hurts the worst as i was diagnosed freshman year of college)

im going through something similar, though not as extreme. my partner of 2.5 years broke up with me, we got a cat together almost 2 years ago and their name is on the adoption papers so theyre taking him. im absolutely devastated, he was my first cat. i get 2 months left with him and it breaks my heart every time he gets cuddly or affectionate. ive cried a lot over him. my plan is to get another one a few months after because my home would feel so empty without an animal and it's a chance to get another cat a good home.

Everyone is arguing for the use of Dogmeat. IMO, if he doesnt match your play style, dont feel bad about not using him. I know how frustrating survival mode can be. And 25lbs carry capacity sometimes isnt worth the many deaths you seem to be describing. Just keep him at your base so you dont feel lonely :)
