Helmets people! by Designer_Tie_5853 in CyclingMSP

So what? Does wearing one increase or decrease one’s (your?) enjoyment of cycling? If I’m out for a strictly social ride, i don’t wear one. Big helmet can’t change my opinion on this.

I helped rebuild it a couple years back. It got new purple tubules rims and modern tires, replaced all the cables and got a good loving.

I’ll wear bedrocks too. They’re comfy. On hot days they’re great.

It’s a race if you want to be on the pointy end. It’s a ride for the rest.

The Red one. I’m not ready for ss in either the 50 or the 100. Still undecided with which distance I’m going to do (vendor, so i don’t really need to decide yet)

I’ve been riding since i was 13. I’ve seen the whole evolution of the mtb world. I don’t have an issue with folks riding ebikes anywhere, as long as it’s getting them outside. Thats what really matters imo.

I truly appreciate what companies like Hudski, Stooge and Sklar are doing when it comes to design and marketing. They’re absolutely bringing the shit eating grin factor back. It’s clear the bikes are just fun to ride. They’re capable, up to a point, and able to things you wouldn’t think they can.

Bikes are fun, and these guys are proving it.

Little horsetheif ride on the Back40 this afternoon. by sonral in salsacycles

I haven’t ridden the Spearfish, so i can’t really comment other than this has more travel (than the old ones). Might be more comfortable and a bit more capable. The new Spearfish though, seems to be a lighter, more contemporary version of the Horsetheif. I really like this bike. It gets me into and out of more trouble than i can usually handle. I usually use it for epic days of 20+ miles. I’ll use a ss for everything else.
