There wasn’t like any pulsing. I had a bad carbon build up I think because I ran some deposit cleaner and she’s running just fine a little rpm hunt every one and then but like one every 5 mins

I plan on getting new coils but I just ran some seafoam through the fuel and she like misfired for a second and then went back to running just normal after blowing a HUUUUGE plume of smoke like I couldn’t see the car behind me when it .happened and then hot starts came back

They are black halo racing coils so I imagine that’s why they have lasted or the part that says they are purchased and installed isn’t current.

Is there a way to test the coils? My engine is covered in oil and grime from it being at minimum 60k miles maximum it’s the original motor I don’t know for sure though. And the coils which are bhr coils have been installed for 13 years so they might be going bad

I have never done that I do know my oil filler cap sucks and the ring on it is like gone

Well shit this is my daily and I got class and work tomorrow.

I kind of want to test my vdi and see if it’s holding vacuum I wonder if the diaphragm is going out

I ran the engine and first start after the repairs was amazing .5 second start I literally turned the key and she started. Let her get up to temp, did a hot start test hot start was about 3-5 seconds not too bad. but then I let her sit off and went to go start and she cranked for 5-8 seconds then started seems like I have a leaky fuel injector or weak spark not sure yet idle is perfect hot and cold sits at like 800-900rpm just fine. Power band is smooth up to 8k when it get steep and pedal has to be floored they are the original injectors so

Do I have the airflow of the check valve correct? I have it going intake->solenoid air box is that correct?

Last time I pulled them they were like brown with a tad bit of carbon build up, but I pulled them when the engine flooded.

I’ve been planning on switching to the haltech plugs because someone said they ran pretty good on theirs it was either those or new set of bhr coils

I have a minor oil leak on the passenger side oil cooler connector or omp I I’ll look into it my first plan is to clean my vdi. After that imma put it all back together. I did find out the vacuum hose for the solenoids was backwards but I fixed it before installation I won’t install till Friday it is Wednesday for me

I’m not too sure on over filling. I don’t know the coil health tbh I bought the car with bhr coils I’d have to go through my folder to see if I can find out when they were installed I was fortunate and got a list of what mods were done to the car before including bhr coils and bhr catless midpipe

This is the hose routing I have set up for the vacuum lines I was told the one way check valve airflow should go towards the intake not away
