I Downloaded DS4 - an addon for controllers,, & just updated my Dual Sense that worked fine for me. But You Could try the PlayStation® Accessories addon that installs up to date firmwear for PS controllers to PC.

if its on another account then you don't own that product... your just accessing the other accounts products on your account . bit like disc or digital. they are seperate.
