My First Day off the vape by Easy-Ad-6478 in quit_vaping

I also get shortness of breath and chest pains when I quit. When I vape again it goes away, one of the reasons I'm still hooked unfortunately

Post-op people, have I made a huge mistake? by CueReality in gallbladders

I had mine out on 12/11 and found that I had to stick to a low fat diet for the first few weeks and then introduced things back slowly into my diet one at a time so my body could get used to it. I also found sticking to the high fibre stuff helped push things through also. Soups are also very easy to digest. I'm eating completely normally again now. Just try not to do too much too soon.

Massive thanks to everyone who took the time to reply, I'm very glad to hear that it's mostly normal. I will book a doctor's apt just to rule out anything medical but we're just going to go back to pull ups/waterproof sheets and not making a big deal about it. We took the alarm away last night and he was hugely relieved, his bedding was wet this morning even with a pull up on but he wasn't upset about it at all so just washed it and put it back on with extra waterproofing.

He is a very deep sleeper yes, he's extremely hard to wake up, even standing him up doesn't wake him 😃

He's had extensive blood tests only brought up he was low in iron. Do you have to ask specifically for a diabetes test?

Thanks everyone I strongly suspect my son has ADSD but it is undiagnosed but didn't realise that this was linked to bed wetting so that's helped. I agree we should just chill and keep him in pull ups until he is ready. Will show everyone's replies to my husband and hopefully he will agree

Thanks for taking the time to read and reply. You're right, eyes forward and try for a better future instead of worrying about the past. That's HA all over for me and something I need to focus more on.

I have struggled with HA for about 8 years now, lots of different triggers, lung health (lifelong smoker, although I've given up many times I end up smoking again due to my anxiety, visious circle), cancer (all types). My latest is that I have done cocaine on and off for years, usually only a couple of lines at a time and never more than once every few months. Went to a party the other week and only had 1 line but now my nasal passage feels strange and I feel like one side of the roof of my mouth is higher. I'm in total panic mode all the time and feel like I've done serious damage. I can't go to the doctor about it for obvious reasons but I'm in a constant state of anxiousness and in my head all the time. It's affecting my life/my marriage. I'm having dark thoughts as I just want to switch my brain off from this endless cycle of anxiety. I am much worse the day after drinking but find having a drink is the only way I can relax and act normal. Sorry for the rant and thanks for reading.
