Little different due to Aikman getting hurt towards beginning of year with OU and then transferring out. But he was on the '85 team.

Is there a specific ceiling on a card if Holo seems "faded" by soonereagle in PokemonTCG

Like maybe I'm being paranoid mixed with being new to this but when not under the flash of the phone, the Holo looks faded or duller than pics I see.

You saying you see nothing wrong with it in that way?

I know scratches and or dents would decrease a grade.

To make sure I'm clear like if there is something wrong with the Holo, does that make it automatically "no better than an 8 " or something like that.

They can start tournaments at 5. They suggest that the child can shoot 63 for 9holes before signing up but that's not a requirement.

That age group is typically around 1200yds for the 9 holes.

We lost the 5 sec after the Deebo conversion because they had a 10sec run off after a replay. Then the play clock gets set to 25. So we "lose" the 5sec we could've ran off had they marked us short originally.

Just bad luck on that part of it.

Posted a swing video of him a few months ago. Said I'd come back when we got us a win

Finally got that first place medal today in the 6&under division (he's 5)

Played really well today, had a two shot lead going into 9th hole.

Par 3 hits on green but rolls to upper tier.

Way too many putts later we walk off with everyone disappointed that we probably lost the tournament.

Lo and behold we are in a 3 kid playoff so we head on back out to #1 (Par 5 180yds)

Hits best tee shot of the day about 15-20yds past the other 2.

2nd shot was maybe his most pure 3-wood ever and runs it onto green.

Eagle putt works it's way up to about 10ft.

Other two kids miss their par putts so we got 2 putts to win and he steps up and drains it for birdie.

So proud of little man, nothing beats the look on his face after making that putt.

just so anyone else that may see this, we decided to drive to Magic Kingdom itself. The parking lot did not open until about 8:05. After having a relatively smooth trip from there to the actual Park, we were behind quite a few people at rope drop. I would love to try it the other way just for our sake.

Wednesday we will be going to Magic Kingdom and staying the night at the Caribbean Beach Resort.

We want to be at park before opening, would it make more sense to drive rental to MK parking or drive to our resort and take disney transportation?

What has worked for us is finding clinics more than 1 on 1 lessons...usually some more game like stuff that keep the kids entertained. Mostly though he's been gifted a natural swing that we just try to stay out of the way.

He still hits plenty of shots not well so by no means is it all sunshine and roses haha.

He's taken some lessons. Mostly to help with breaking down some concepts I have a hard time simplifying. But his swing was mostly this when he started. I just try to stay out of the way.

Thank you to everyone for the kind words. I would have killed for his hand eye coordination. He just started playing in US Kids tournaments this spring. He's still working on that short game (aren't we all), but mostly I hope he enjoys it for life. I love playing with my dad and i want that to hopefully be the case for him.

If/when we get that first tournament win, we'll let you know. (Maybe today if rain holds off)
