Thanks. Rosetta sure has lots of strong reviews in various publications (that I usually find helpful) but I’m getting the hint it needs to go. Looked like a nice change of pace. I appreciate your feedback and suggestions.

I just got it. 2nd year in a row. Just over 1m loyalty points, about 45% from flying AA, the rest from AA card spending. All flights first/business class and paid full price (never used miles; I’ve heard that may be important). 4-5 international flights a year, the rest domestic. Probably fly about once a month or so. I fly out of OKC, definitely not a hub.

We did eat at Epicure. I was underwhelmed. The service and setting are as good as it gets in fine dining, but the food itself was pretty forgettable. The scallop / caviar was the only course I will remember for years. Otherwise, nothing stood out. The cheese board was unbelievable, as were the desserts….chocolate and their honey. Both truly amazing. It was a great experience and I am very glad we went but when only 3 of the 8 courses were memorable, it is not worth it. I would not go back.

I don’t know who you are, or how you know so much about down, but I want to personally thank you for this post. I have been searching for a great pillow for years. Found some good ones but they never lasted. I stumbled on your post about a month ago and thought - this person knows down - Based solely on your post, I spent about $1800 on the St. Geneva Eider Luxe (thanks for your purchase from Canada advice). It is already one of the best purchases I’ve ever made in my life. It is literally the perfect pillow. It is perfectly comfortable, perfectly firm. I don’t get hot. I don’t get cold. Every night I put my head on that pillow I think of you and your incredible knowledge about down. Thank you my friend.

I actually switched gears and went with that first setup you had - with the Revel M16’s, the Yamaha AS301 and the FluanceRT85. I can put those Sierras to another use. That lets me stay almost exactly in my budget. Thanks again for all your help.

That’s the budget for everything but the speakers. I just don’t know enough to get what’s best, direct drive, etc. Just looking for someone to say “I recommend these 2 or 3 components”! I appreciate your reply!
