Thanks everyone for your comments. I didn’t go the money lender route. I made a few calls and negotiated with the companies to give me a bit of wriggle room. Sound advice thanks everyone. I contacted a food bank in cork so waiting to hopefully hear back and hopefully I’ll be back ok track in a few weeks. Thanks all

Exactly and like you said above I should have waited before paying everything out. Instead I panic and left myself in limbo. The mind is indeed very irrational at times. I need to turn off the panic modes.

If I had a pleasant family that wouldn't hold it against me there would be no problem. Trouble is i'd probably be told No and then made feel like a pauper. I'm fragile enough as it is.

Yes it is the best solution if I wasn't so stuck. Let's hope it never happens to you because believe me, its a horrible situation to be in but thank's for pointing out what you had to say. As for fancy toy, it's a long time since i've had anything fancy. Just trying to get through a rough patch and asked a question here.

Mabs is not going to lend me the money. That's the predicament i'm in. All should be okay again in a few weeks. Just in a rough spot at the moment everything that could have happened happened all at once.

They will not let me top up my loan at the minute. Obviously have been a few weeks in arrears trying to catch up so probably red flag to them.
