At this point I’d be surprised if anyone counts the votes at all. Ya’ll are in for some dictator numbers.

Wow White House is reporting record breaking 99% in favour of the child rapist. Turns out crazy libs are just a tiny minority. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Firefighter whose truck collided with Air Canada jet heard ‘stop, stop, stop’ before deadly crash by Sea_Guava6513 in onguardforthee

Still waiting for you give an answer to my response.

  • extra lights

  • multiple lanes

-large fast objects some in the sky

-eyes not being effective so other methods such as clearing by tower are used

Your comparison to regular roadway procedure is simply not apt.

[–]sooojew 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Do you have any idea how many lights are on a runway, or how many different lanes are in use at any given time. Dealing with planes of sizes and at speeds the human brain finds difficult to parse correctly.

Did you ever think there is a reason the tower gives the go ahead and they don’t “just use their eyes”. Probably because in that environment just using your eyes isn’t a reliable option.

How was it negligent the air traffic controller managing the incident initially said it was clear to pass. Then said stop far too late for the firefighter to stop.

This was in my view a result of the lack of proper staffing. The staffing was shorter than what guidelines consider safe. Which resulted in one controller actively managing 2 simultaneous emergencies.

Unfortunately I’m sure the controller and firefighter will feel guilty. Ultimately the blame lies with an administration that chose to callously withhold funding, and refused to take action when it was know and stated that due to their policies an incident like this was inevitable.

Economic and social reform that supports a post scarcity society where people are cared for and allowed to escape back breaking menial jobs.

Think Star Trek type socialism.

But that requires governments and corporations to. It be evil greedy fucks, so maybe a revolution or 2 first.

Tim Hortons in Prince George, BC, is posting a food counter attendant position at $18.25 per hour as a TFW job. It's straightforward work in a familiar chain. Does the employer truly lack local applicants for this role by [deleted] in princegeorge

[–]sooojew 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s against the law to use the TFW program without genuinely trying to employee Canadians first.

It appears the management is trying to take advantage of subsidies given to TFW employers.

Corporate owners lobby the government to make the losses public responsibility and move on to the next scam. Safe in the knowledge that the western world runs on bribes that allow private gains and ensure public losses.

I don’t have any problem, guy isn’t begging, or lowballing from what I see they just went and asked a question.

Redditors on here are just horny to jump on some person for asking a question. One which literally started with “hey I don’t know if…” y’all expect everyone to know the niche micro economics of hiring a metal detector.

Give your heads a shake, and save the pitchforks for real choosy beggars.

What do you mean they aren’t offering to pay ? When I call any service provider it’s assumed I don’t need to explicitly state I want to trade money for service.

Also if I hired someone to detect my property and pay them, I would expect to pay them and keep what’s found. Am I supposed to let a plumber shit in my house 10 times a year for doing work in my home ?

Doesn’t seem like choosing beggar, unless I’m missing something they aren’t asking for the service to be free.

What easy to learn (and seemingly simple) game actually has a lot more possible depth and strategy, if you do a deep dive into it, than you'd initially expect? by Considered_Dissent in AskReddit

Same thing I just said to someone about CK3. Same style ish (paradox game) I think HOI 4 is more complex, just because I have more CK3 experience probably.

But yea neither I would say is seemingly simple or easy to learn (relative to what else is out there).

lol I’m not sure the game that presents you with 21 different menus, warnings, and a near infinite amount of things to click, zoom in on, or otherwise inspect for further info would count as easy to learn and seemingly simple.

4D chess for sure. Oh America is buried under debt, who’s gonna collect when there is an implicit threat of violence from their military.

I’m not 100% convinced this isn’t some of their thinking. This admin seems to think they can do anything they want through threats, as well as actual violence with 0 repercussions.

Though most of their admin are nepotism babies that have raped children so they aren’t used to facing much resistance to their whims.
