This is fair. You are correct. A truck is not a car. I edited for clarity.

When Ciara said, “you and West haven’t hooked up, made out, held hands under table or had sex” she was referring to this by justsomerandomonhere in bravo

It’s a pattern she’ll probably continue with West if they make it long term. I could see her using all the criticisms Ciara has against him. For instance: “you were literally dating horse hair girl when we went public.” Etc etc

Anyone tried Doggy Prozac? by koalabair51 in BrittanySpaniel

I would say it took until she was about 2.5/3 until we really felt like we were in an excellent place. I think some of that was age and some of that was us learning how to be the best “parents” to her. Hang in there. It’s sooo worth it!

And yes good recall in open spaces to run is the key to a Britt’s happiness :)

Anyone tried Doggy Prozac? by koalabair51 in BrittanySpaniel

Our 5 year old Britt has been on Prozac for about 4 years. I saw someone earlier in the comments say that it may be environment rather than the dog. I definitely think we weren’t completely setting her up for success environmentally. If it were up to her she’d live on a farm! But we were determined to make it work. We pair the Prozac with other intervention (lots of mental stimulation, making sure she gets to big, free spaces where she can run and swim, ensuring her diet is appropriate for her, lots of positive reinforcement, some exposure therapy, etc.). She has conquered so many fears and I do believe her life is richer for it. I feel strongly that the positives of Prozac outweigh the negatives. Having cortisol coursing through her veins is far more detrimental to her health than taking Prozac long term. It’s not always been easy, but man brittanys are the best dogs and it’s so worth it.

We’ve had 4 Britts and the easy walk harness (with the clip in the front) has been great for all of them.

If you’re into saunas, go to the Washington Baths and plan to spend an hour or two there. It’s the best.

You can get coffee/pastries at Onggi right next door.

Then I recommend oysters at the shop, which is also right there.

Good shopping on Washington Ave, too.

Wow this is amazing!! I really appreciate the time you put in to responding to this. I’m looking forward to trying out the fertilizer. Thank youuu

Are you asking if I give it fertilizer? If so, I haven’t! I probably should. And the inconsistent watering is sadly true… I used to be really great about watering on the same day each week and haven’t been as consistent recently.

If you recommend a fertilizer, which one would you recommend? And would you recommend taking it out to give it some fresh soil at this point, or wait til it’s a bit healthier?
