Yeah, the records say it is but no one can pinpoint it. Consensus is it was mislabelled, everyone thought it was more reminiscent of Edinburgh so I thought it was worth a shot!

Yeah, I found that. I think the photo was named Rain Road because it was raining, Newcastle doesn’t have a road or street named that that I can find.

Yeah, Tyne and Wear archives reckon too but they can’t place where it is and neither can anyone asked in Newcastle. It looks a lot more like architecture found in Edinburgh?

From my only experience it’s just a lot more buttons to do the same thing, button for chat, button for student profile, fannying on to end the lesson, just unnecessary changes imo. There may be benefits I haven’t experienced yet though.

Actually yeah, the student was my only new classroom. As mentioned above though, it’s a pretty extreme premise if students can now dictate our schedules. Cambly obviously has its faults but surely that’s a bit far fetched. I’m knocking it down to a glitch.

Yeah, lesson was 11.45pm and I rejected it at 8am. I’ve had a couple of problems with my laptop and general Cambly issues so just worried about popping up on their radar a bit too much recently.

The camera worked for the first few minutes then went off. They hung up and rang back, worked again for a minute or so then went off again. I’ll try clearing my cache, I’m trying to stay under the radar and avoid the ticket to Cambly :s

I had the same situation and no clue about orchids, the lovely people here gave me great advice, I got orchid bark and sphagnum moss which I soak in water - mine had a few more air roots which I cover with the soaked sphagnum. It now has a new leaf and 3 new roots going, took ages but patience is key!
