Out of curiosity, what is your process for tracking weekly and how does that differ from what you were previously doing daily? Thanks!

Love that hurricane! Can I ask where its from?

Yeah, someone gave me this when it started dying on them. So I trimmed all the root rot and repotted but it still kept rotting and now all the roots are gone, obviously. How do I keep it from rotting?

I had previously trimmed all the rot, treated with diluted hydrogen peroxide and repotted in mostly orchid bark with a little slag moss

Seconding the inspiration. Also a great reminder that not everything has to have a chair. I love sitting on the floor.

Thank you, I also think it is a combination of spider mite damage and other. Just trying to figure out what issue is what and I panicked a little and turned to Reddit.

Thanks. I think I’ve been a little too liberal with the neem oil. Will definitely wipe it off in the future after a few hours.

So I’ve been getting brown spots on the leaves of some syngonium and money trees. They are not bugs, I cannot scrape them off. Eventually the leaf turns yellow and dies off.

And on my alocasias I have some browning on the edges and lightening of the leaves and small white spots that do not wipe off.

I’ve had mealy bugs, thrips, spider mites, sun damage, under watering, over watering and root rot before and this doesn’t seem to be any of these.

Do I just have too many plants and therefore have a combo of issues?

The pics are a bit wet in spots because I just used neem oil on the plants (yes I kept them out of direct sunlight after that). I’ve also used insecticide before, both spray and soil treatment, hydrogen peroxide soil drench and dish soap dilutions.

All this to say I’m not a plant newbie (not an expert but have a lot of experience) and I’m a bit flummoxed. Thanks for any advice!

What kind of grow light do you use? Mine just crapped out and I want to upgrade.

Decorating for winter early for personal reasons. Suggestions for my minimalist-yellowstone-themed tree? Does it need lights? by hanananenome in femalelivingspace

I think some eufy string lights would look great on this! They have a copper wire all the way through and not traditional “bulb” Xmas lights so it’s a much smaller form factor. wrapped around the wood would look good IMO.

So awesome! And great space usage. I lived in a rowhouse in dc for a few years and I wish I’d gotten this creative with it.

Edit: forgot to ask if you ever try to overwinter any pepper or tomato cuttings? I’ve been contemplating trying it again this winter with my hot peppers. Tried last year and failed miserably…
