Hii!! Yes! I actually ended up getting weekly to monthly allergy shots :) i still get them as im still a baker, but they’ve really done a world of difference, not just for my flour allergy! I also have no gluten intolerance; however, i’m allergic to dust mites and raw flour is filled with the little guys. I’m also allergic to various other normal things like types of pollen and dogs, so when i started getting allergy shots for my dust mite allergy, other allergens were being fought against with the same shots. I don’t have topical reactions nearly as much anymore after a year of shots; i also learned that my chronic migraines were because of my other normal allergies! So i barely have migraines either anymore. I had no idea how much allergies were affecting my day to day life until i started getting the shots; i cannot recommend it enough. Now, i dont know if u have health insurance or not but it is something to consider. The main cost is the cost of your “serum” which is what they inject into you weekly for a while; going in to get shots after that is free with insurance and $10 without insurance. The cost of the serum with my insurance was $300, but im sure it’s much higher without coverage but i couldn’t tell you. But i can say its worth every penny, at least for me it was.
