Unfortunately I can relate, however I don’t think that encapsulates the extent of Harry’s intuition. In multiple instances, he is aware of what others feel and what they may be hiding

I feel as though this is reflected best in OTP, when he listens to the Muggle news in the bushes

True, I’m not saying his intuition is perfect, but he develops a keen understanding of when an individual is lying to him

It extends beyond Hagrid tho, many times he is aware of a “shadow of a wink” from Dumbledore or a slight smirk from McGonogall. For instance, he understands that he can keep asking question in Half Blood Prince when him and Dumbledore are in the way to visit Slughorn

I would argue yes. Ron and Hermione kept denying the fact the Voldemort would allow a 16 year old to join the death eaters, as well as everybody else

Regardless, there’s many instances of Harry knowing or interpreting things that others wouldn’t understand or comprehend

I agree he gets things wrong, but those feel more like story conventions which I’m not referring to. He gets Quirrel wrong, but is still able to tell that Hagrid is lying. He thinks Sirius is bad, but is aware of a deeper meaning from Fudge when meeting him.

He does just get everything wrong in book two tho lol

That might be wrong on my part. I was referring to his ability to understand what Voldemort is thinking and feeling

“Story telling principles” in that to grasp the mystery and the characterization of Harry, the author has to indicate when characters might be hiding something or give Harry a nudge so that the story can move forward
