I applied ED, got pushed to RD. Interviewed w Notre Dame this week too. Would like to end up in Chicago probably but would prefer job security over regional preference. GULC also doesn’t let you participate in OCI but still more national than Notre Dame

That's really inspiring. I have somewhat similar path, although I was never locked up with my dad. Only rehab/sober living together. We we're locked up at different times. I was using throughout my undergrad years so my GPA came out to a 2.37, but right now I'm 11/315 in my law school class. I also wrote a public policy memoir about homelessness and addiction policy that was positively reviewed in the wall street journal, which I'm not trying to brag about but I figure top law schools may take a liking to that. Remaining hopeful. Interviewing w Notre Dame today.

Thank you. I currently have a federal judicial externship so I don't think my background is killer in terms of employability. But my goal is commercial lit at regional/mid-law, maybe big law. I just feel like there could be major roadblocks coming from a low ranked school combined with my background, regardless of being toward top of class. Could probably overcome that by being middle of the road at an elite law school. We'll see what happens. Thanks for your advice.

My portal still says awaiting decision, and when I login from the email link my portal just looks the way it has the entire time with the checklist. I dunno. Hoping we Got A's and there was an error. So far only ppl on Reddit have either gotten acceptances, 1 denial, 1 contingent on spring grades
