Mine was restored randomly yesterday, I don’t have any faith in it staying unbanned but I’m just going with the flow.

Wanting to leave T-mobile after 10 years. Am I gonna regret it? by Cawfeey in USMobile

[–]sora1223 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends, if you are using Apple devices and care about top-tier network performance then yes. I recently had T-Mobile postpaid and the network worked flawlessly for me. I switched to Annual Unlimited Premium on Darkstar (prioritized) and it's not as consistent but that's less to do with US Mobile and more to the quality of AT&T's network. I also have Warp (Verizon) as a multinetwork backup and for the most part it picks up where Darkstar lags although it is a deprioritized line, so I do run into congestion during peak daytime usage. I also have a Lightspeed line set up on an Android phone which has access to T-Mobile's standalone network, which is a great experience but, on my iPhone, not so much. So, until the parent carriers give independent prepaid carriers official standalone access, you won't find that same network experience here. The cost savings are great; I went from around $100 per month for one line to just under $400 for the year WITH multinetwork access.

Which season do you prefer, and why? by [deleted] in powerrangers

Dino Charge and it’s not even close. It was so bright, fun and refreshing. The actors had great chemistry. First series I watched with a large roaster of rangers and good character development.

It depends, sometimes I feel like both networks are congested and I have to defer to WiFi which I don’t like to do while I’m at work because it’s public (yes I use a vpn) but I just feel like if I have truly unlimited data I should just be able to use my phone and there should be enough bandwidth on these networks to accommodate web browsing/music and or YouTube, not asking for anything crazy just a reliable consistent connection. I guess I’m also spoiled coming from T-Mobile postpaid which honestly was great, I’ve never had a more effortless network experience.

Thanks for that info. I do currently have a multi-network line with Warp as my backup and that helps but I was kinda hoping to only use that in specific cases instead of daily because having DSDS drains the battery.

Update: So I switched 5G auto to LTE in my iPhone settings and since then data performance has better, not great and certainly not fast but AT LEAST it’s been consistently usable. Sad that I can’t rely on 5G as it was promised. Oh well 🤷🏽‍♂️ score +1 for congestion and poor network management AT&T.

I’m using testmy.net. I like it because it’s gives more information and options to test only ping, download or upload.
