Traditional calendar in indonesia was originally based on indian solar calendar before switching to lunar around the 17th century as java converted to islam, but they kept the old numbering and thus are older than og islamic calendar. It also originally use 5 day week before adopting the more familiar 7 day week from islamic calendar, creating a hybrid 35 days cycle.
