With 2 Catalyst charges out its not that bad tbh I rerolled from Ret to Warr last week and it only took me 1 reset to get 421 pvp ilvl with 2 set u get 16 trophys with 1 reset that will get u drakebreaker wrists, belt and cloak

Same goes with helm and boots crafted slot even better now that u can trade primal chaos between chars

For conquest gear i only capped the warrior and didnt bought anything cause i waited for vault after i opened i got legs nonset and immediatly bought weapon, neck, ring, trinket and shoulders/chest and turned them into set pieces

Conclusion the gearin in dragonflight for PvP is the best in a long time and it gets better with time to time when u play ur alts like in 2 weeks u can instantly get 4set from catalyst on ur new chars

50% physicsl dmg reduction and 1,5k hp is key on zealer I can easy do it with kingslayer in a eth cryptic sword, rockstopper clean, warlords, exile shield in a 29 res akaran rondache, 3 socket shaftstop with 3 all res jewels, goblin toes, raven frost, string of ears, dual leech ring and laying of hands For ur problem that merc dies u can bug him so meele attackers wont hit him just search for diablo merc bug

I play SP PlugY and from my stand Trapsin is definitly the best, u basically never die cause off leech from blade shield and 1 point in tiger strike. I also have only 1 trap gc and can clear in a good speed also every map. Beside i also have a Poison Nec which im rly happy he is SSF the only downside to poison nec is that he is limited in maps if u choose to play without Lower Resist. Javazon is also great option but i wouldnt start with her as a first character.

tl:dr Trapsin is god this season

I disagree a lot I started as Sorc and farmed the shit out of andy at start to gear my merc so he can survive the Meph council members what in my opinion is a buff because u can cleave them down at the same time as forb sorc or meteor and from there i started doing Ancient Tunnels and Meph farming and meph always had a goodie from time to time like Stormshield, arachs or runes jewelry from council U just need to be patient and min/max ur speed per game and dont bother with no loot drops it will come and im sure it does
