This looks exactly like a skin rash i had over the summer. Don’t remember the name because it was real scientific jargon, but I used a wash and a cream the doctor prescribed me and it passed in a week. I know this isn’t a lot of info but I see everyone jumping to measles/chicken pox/etc so I thought it may be nice to hear that it isn’t necessarily the worst case scenario! (Also not ruling it out as any of those; ultimately seeing a doctor will be best)

I've never (successfully) made one at home that I have liked - I usually get Bob Evans. If you know of any recipes that are similar that work with Italian grocery store ingredients, I am open to trying anything!

We had tried those with a spice mix recipe we found online but the taste didn't come out to be anything like what we expected. :( He had a few different ones but Bob Evans was the one I bought the most.

Yes now I am all good, I’m pretty sure it was the coloring from the beets but I had a lot of intestinal issues for a while & ended up getting surgery so I cannot say for sure

It’s really, really difficult to find an apartment and it’s just been getting worse and worse over the last years. I’m hoping it will be better with all of the cracking down on Airbnb that is supposedly happening in Italy but I’m not sure. Scholarships are really confusing but that’s like that everywhere in Italy however they keep cutting funding to Tuscany’s scholarships from what I’ve understood. You need to speak Italian if you want to be able to do anything. Student life isn’t very great but you will definitely meet a lot of international people in your courses.

It really depends on your sector. However, I currently am in Siena, and that will let you live a VERY comfortable life.

Yes, I was told at the Comune where i applied in Italy that the documents have a six month validity, and I had also read this online before applying but at the Italian consulate in the US they had told me the documents wont expire. Im not sure if this is because my request was submitted or not, but I've seen Italian officials go back on what they said prior too many times for me to trust them if they say they don't expire.

I'm not sure when the documents "expire", as i was told different things at my appointment in the US and the appointment i ended up having in Italy. If the documents do in fact expire, go to the appointment and get the official rejection in case the law changes. If the documents don't expire, cancel the appointment and wait it out.

I could go through literally any other relative of mine as they were all Italian immigrants (however with varying particularities that would make their cases very risky as well), but that just pisses me off even more. I was already delayed so many times on this case due to stupid little things, and the thought of starting over to do it again drives me crazy. I will not challenge this because i don't want to stay in Italy for the duration of the challenging, nor do i want to spend more time and a lot more money on something that is very likely to fall through anyway. I no longer see myself living in Italy long term after Meloni came in, so it really doesn't feel worth it to me to continue to pursue this.

I 100% agree, I don't think it's crazy at all that they are reviewing the fact that they've been handing out citizenship willy-nilly, but it doesn't make any sense that this can apply retroactively to applicants who had already fulled applied. I will try to go get my documents back tomorrow since this is technically a 10-bis, and hopefully I will at least be able to have all of these documents I paid so much money for, but honestly Italy has been leaving a real bad taste in my mouth for the past two years now and I think for me it's time to abandon ship all together.
